Incubus fans, you’re in for an absolute treat. Black Star Jackals have recently released their debut self-titled EP and contained within EP is the standout single “Problems”. If the choruses weren’t so infectious, I probably would have shed a tear.
The soundscape which combines atmospheric Shoegaze guitars with Rock melodies serves as the perfect platform for the ethereally piercing vocals to rest on. The pitch-perfect production of the track allowed Black Star Jackals vocalist’s to rest above the rest of the mix; you definitely wouldn’t want to miss even one arrestive note.
There’s really no over-exaggerating what a promising debut this is from the Glaswegian 4-piece melodically gifted powerhouse.
