There are very few artists, let alone emerging artists that can leave me breathless within moments of discovering their sound. Come is just one of the singles recently released from UK based Trip Hop artist They Call Me Max. Both the beat and Max’s vocals create an aural alchemy of pure catharsis. His Jazz inspired, piano driven Trap beats create a haunting pace for Max to lay down his melancholic bars. Yet this is far from being a pensive track. It’s hard to capture Max’s vibes that he infuses into his music which is so full of soul he makes every RnB artist sound ego centrical. His playful approach to rhythmic lyricism in Come which was released on March 8th, 2018 was just another one of the reasons why They Call Me Max may just be one of the best Trip Hop artists on the scene.
