Min The Universe and Mina Grace want to show us ‘A Million Fireflies’

Thrumming, pulsing, rising and rolling electronic bass over electronic beats and rushing chords, all topped off with Nina Grace’s powerful vocal – that’s ‘A Million Fireflies’ by New York’s Min The Universe.

A true ‘citizen of the world’ Min (or should that be Mr. Universe?) has travelled from Shanghai to Liverpool to Boston to Atlanta, spending his formative years as a lead guitarist and keyboardist, rocking out in progressive metal bands before finding his love of electronic dance music in his early 20’s. There’s a mix of Calvin Harris and Deadmau5, Avicii and Eric Prydz, a trancy, progressive house style backbeat and swelling keyboard parts, Grace’s vocal carrying the track in between the ebb and flow of electronic verse and chorus.

It’s a top dance track, clubby and uptempo with some quality guest vocal work from Nina Grace.

You can listen to ‘A Million Fireflies’ on Spotify; Follow Min The Universe on Facebook.

Scottish duo Wraiths are intriguing with their 10 minute dark house ‘Collective Paranoia’

Taken off ‘Collective Paranoia EP‘, Wraiths return with the fantastic new song, which is one of two songs off the release.

Collective Paranoia‘ from Wraiths is a 10 minute journey through the earth. The background noises are quite wonderful and you feel like you are travelling all over the globe. Spacey-effects change this, you might be floating all over the galaxy. There is ominous laughing and the breath-taking build takes you to a new and exciting place. This is a terrific trance-house journey that by the end, has your heart beating very fast.

Wraiths are a power producer duo from Scotland. Founded by James Allan and Colin Mckellar, they come together randomly and the partnership has proven successful. James was a part of Public Domain, a widely known electronic group in the early 2000’s. Colin comes from the other side of the musical spectrum as he was in the heavy metal and indie scene. These two have come from different places but have built up a powerful team.

Their famous Roland TB-303 is in top form, with infuses to boost their productions clear to see, eager to convey an organic, raw, and moody, dark and distinctive sound. ‘Collective Paranoia‘ from Wraiths is a fine song, full promise.

Canada’s Stigmada trances through with deep tech ”Are These Those Chords Vol 2”

https://soundcloud.com/eufortia/are-these-those-chords-vol-3

With an euphoric beat, no vocals and awe-inspiring samples that make you feel like you are flying in the sky, this is a stunning release for 2020. I feel free and have no worries as I’m carried through a crowd of people as we all unsocial distance. This is a dream for now but I feel a good vibe and this puts me in the summer mood.

Canada’s Stigmada is a young 22 year old producer who is wise beyond his years. He has a funky style about him and I enjoy listening to his beats. This is a young guy who is on his way up the ranks. ”Are These Those Chords Vol 2” is a happy track and should be belted out loud in the speakers and cars all over the world. If he can push hard there is no question we could see him on some big stages too. Look out for more progressive tech house tracks from this newcomer and he has all the potential in the world.

Stream more from this new trance house producer from Canada on his Soundcloud channel to join his journey.
