‘Time Travel Blues’ is a soulful tale of adventure from The Tattered Rhapsodies

The Woodlands, Texas is the home of The Tattered Rhapsodies and they return with the piano-infused indie-folk ‘Time Travel Blues‘.

The Tattered Rhapsodies have just released their new record, ‘Subversive Folk‘ and this is the 2nd single that certainly impresses off the bat. They have such a unique sound that covers folk, indie, rock, pop as well and some caressing country to keep their fans happy.

‘Time Travel Blues‘ is all about wanting to travel through time and go on some mystical adventures. You certainly want to go but know that it isn’t possible sadly.

The Tattered Rhapsodies are a happy-go lucky indie-folk band who showcase their interesting sound that is easy on the ear and happy on the heart. They are on top form on ‘Time Travel Blues‘ and I like the sound of this band. The Texas group make beautiful music and we should all support bands like this and stream their music again and again.

LA singer JiLLi takes us on a sad love story on ‘In Another Life’

Los Angeles, California is the home of supremely talented 22 year old singer-songwriter JiLLi who returns with her new stunner called ‘In Another Life‘.

She tells the story of loving someone in another life. You care for this person that are you are with but know that it can’t work. Perhaps in another life it would of worked, the timing was off this time but who knows in another time. This can be a tough feeling as you want it but know that it just won’t happen. There is no perfect journey and you know that this was written in the starts, you just know that you loved each other.

JiLLi is a fantastic talent that raises the bar in 2020 with ‘In Another Life‘. Her voice is tremendous and fills through the air like a good wine. She is a real talent.

Midnight Drive’s ‘Over It’ is the electro anthem of 2020

Midnight Drive are a new electronic act in the game and they return with their 3rd single called ‘Over It‘.

Nothing is going to save this relationship sadly. The love has gone and you are over it. You had amazing memories but the time to turn the page and close the book is now. You need to move on and be free again, finding happiness is this destructive world is key to your mental health.

There is lots of indie electro forces here and the beat is so jarring and thuds into your ears. I love the beat and the raspy vocals make this a winner. This a breakout anthem that is a pleasure to listen to.

Midnight Drive’s ‘Over It‘ shines through the door like a bright light wanting to force itself in. There is a style and a panache here that is unlike most bands. This is an outfit that are making a name for themselves.

‘Soup and Chili’ from BahbissCobb is an electronic journey of darkness

Bahbiss Cobb is the solo project of Eric Curry and he has just returned with his new moody electronic track called ‘Soup and Chili‘.

After being in the game doing electronic music for around 12 years, you can feel the experience in this producers music. He has made his own signature beat that certainly delves into your ears and takes you a journey.

The beats are dark and gloomy. They match the song’s cover art as this is all about what is going on in the world as we speak. The energy is underground with a tech house feel. This is all about what we are doing to the world and feel like I am floating over earth while listening to this, my expression is of shock as the world is so tainted.

‘Soup and Chili‘ from Bahbiss Cobb is a wild ride into the dark side with electronically charged energy that will amaze your heart.

Brooklyn singer-songwriter Annalise Azadian strides on with her gorgeous voice on ‘Good Girls Gone Wild (MIA)’

Annalise Azadian is a Brooklyn, USA singer-songwriter with a jazzy-soul style that impresses highly on ‘Good Girls Gone Wild (MIA)’.

New York City-based singer and songwriter Annalise Azadian is a self-taught guitarist who sings with a tone that is so stunning to listen to. Her raspy voice that makes your heart beat twice. “It’s the only thing I’m meant to be doing,” says the now 18 years old Annalise.

By age 14 she was winning accolades at the famed Apollo Theater in Harlem, performing on American Idol, studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, she is now on a mission to get her name and music out there to the whole world.

‘Good Girls Gone Wild (MIA)’ from Annalise Azadian is 1 minute 17 seconds of pure bliss. I’m smiling as I write as this is an artist with real soul. She is speaking about life as a good girl and the temptations out there. I hope that Annalise reaches her dreams and I can watch her live one day. She is a real special talent.

Young singer-songwriter ` is in self-reflective mood on ”You Don’t See In Me What I See In You”

Luke Porter is a young singer-songwriter from Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK. He is a fine artist and is here with his song called ”You Don’t See In Me What I See In You”.

This is a perfect song for a reflective night in as this is a quite a sad topic. You want to be with someone special and you care about them so much. There is one massive issue. You like them more than they like you. This is a always a sticky situation. You wonder if things will ever work or if you should just move on? This is the problem you will have or will they fall in love with you?

”You Don’t See In Me What I See In You” is full of indie-folk vibes that are so purely sung from Luke Porter. The Newcastle native sings through his soul and this is something special. This young artist is only getting his name out and this is a musician that is on his way all the way to the top. The lyrics are honest and the music strikes a chord in the heart.

”Enjoy The Fall” is hard-nosed Alt-Rock full blast T. Edwards style

Fremont, California is the home of hard bass-line strumming/vocalist underground artist T.Edwards. He strides through the dusty music venue floor with the splendid ”Enjoy The Fall”.

Tom is a self-taught singer-songwriter who performs and records when life allows, rocks in the door with his signature style. He is a fierce singer that loves music to its core.

”Enjoy The Fall” was written and preformed by Tom with drums by John Tacci, vox and lyrics by Kyle Castellani. The true team effort strides on the stage with a fun alt rock style that is never too heavy for the ears. The powerful band are certainly a good listen as they rock right through the crowd like old pros.

T.Edwards impresses on ”Enjoy The Fall” as he is in self-reflective mood here with his band. The solid vocal delivery is matched by the incredible passion to produce a quality new song. This aim is achieved with aplomb by these talented musicians.

The stunning ”Beautiful People” is the new and debut track from Hip Hop artist/singer Taaaaurs.

Taaaaurs has galvanized the music world with this fascinating new track. This sounds like a world cup anthem as he wants all of us humans to work together. The world can be so harsh but also beautiful too.

”Beautiful People” is a song all about uniting the world. There is indie Hop Hop here that is blended nicely by Taaaaurs. The beat is transcendent as it urges us all to believe in working together. I love the message here.

For a debut song in the music world, this is truly a fantastic effort. With a Damien Marley type vibe, Taaaaurs does well here to inspire us all on ”Beautiful People”.

Gainesville rapper GB Zizzy shows his growth on ”Racks”

GB Zizzy is a multi-talented guy. He is a rapper, gamer, vlogger, prankster and does reaction videos. The reaction here is positive on his new trap-filled ”Racks”.

Taken off ”Forever In Control”, ”Racks” is a real talent who struts in with lots of confidence and doesn’t seem to mind the haters. He is tying not to let them get to him and he rides the beat like a seasoned pro on this hot new Hip Hop track.

GB Zizzy is a real new talent in the game and he has lots of interests. The flow is fly with the new school trap beat. I personally prefer boom bap but this is a quality song that shows the potential of this new artist. With lots of time to craft his style and lyrics to burn, GB Zizzy is on his way to the top with ”Racks”.

Katy JØ sings sweet smoke signals on jazz-tingled debut ”Spark The J”

Katy JØ is a young indie jazz artist born and raised in Houston, Texas. Her first bluesy-jazzed single “Spark the J” has just been released and this is a perfect wind-down track at the end of the night.

Her goal is to keep Jazz and Funk alive in her generation and Katy JØ is certainly on her way to doing this. With a laid-back style and plenty of soul, Katy let’s her voice do the talking and her mellow style resonates through the speakers. Everything is natural and the vibe keeps your head bouncing.

She is continuously working on growing her craft, and will be releasing an album towards the end of 2020. This young artist is only just dipping her feet in the game and this is an excellent start.

“Spark the J” has an irie reggae-jazz style that fuses with some lofi-hip beats with extra treats for our ears.
