Swedish singer Linda Englund sees through the lies on excellent debut single ‘Ashamed’

Sultry singer-songwriter Linda Englund has just launched her first single ‘Ashamed‘.

Linda is based in Stockholm in Sweden and has been singing since she was a youngster and remembers fondly her musical classes and learning the ins and outs of the music game. Her inspirations are Christina Aguilera and Shania Twain just to name a few.

This is all about working out your crush and knowing that they will never change. They might say that they will but deep down, you just know that they won’t. You are wise enough now to see through the smoke and mirrors, your eyes are sharp and the brain is working overtime. You just know how this is going to end but you want to stay on the ride until it comes to an end.

Linda Englund from Sweden sings with such class here and is on a mission to succeed. ‘Ashamed‘ is a great start for this young singer and more music is expected soon from this huge talent. Her voice is so pure and beautiful.

Red Spade flows with his cards open on ‘Look at My Heart’ (Ft. Qwezzz)

Delaware, United States is the home of the young emcee Vince Wilson aka Red Spade. He returns with ‘Look at My Heart‘ (Ft. Qwezzz).

This musician likes to use his creativity to stand out. Molding his voice to be his biggest instrument he creates captivating melodies while still remaining true to his lyrical self. Being authentic and free to approach any sound and break any barrier is one of Red Spade’s biggest intentions. I like this mentality from the rapper as he is trying to be different and stay away from the norm.

After the success of 2018’s ‘Debut Season‘, this is a solid release from Red Spade. His lyrical skills seem to be improving after each song which is a sign on great things to come.

”Red Spade is a symbol of individualism, when you look into a deck of cards there is only one type of Spade and it is black, if you where to add a red spade to the deck it would be one of a kind. This is me saying I’m in my own lane as an artist and aspire to be known for my dedication to having my own legacy and building my own brand”.

With a mentality like this, you can see why this is an artist who knows what he is doing. ‘Look at My Heart‘ (Ft. Qwezzz) wins the day with a quality track full of freshness.

Pianist Barry C. Humphreys plays with so much heart on ‘I Know You’ve Come to Say Goodbye’

Pianist Barry C. Humphreys is back with his brand new song called ‘I Know You’ve Come to Say Goodbye‘.

Born and raised in the Bay Area of Northern California, Barry C. Humphreys displayed a natural talent for piano at a very young age. After just a few years of learning how to play, he was soon able to play anything by ear. He could simply take a request and play it without the aid of any written music. Soon after, Barry began to play his own compositions. Family and friends would often gather around the piano to hear his own beautiful melodies. His private shows became an important part of any family reunion as listeners would call out for beloved favorites. Barry currently lives in Eastern North Carolina with his wife of 54 years and continues to create beautiful music with heart.

‘I Know You’ve Come to Say Goodbye‘ from Barry C. Humphreys is a heart-felt song about the end of a relationship. You hoped that things would be okay but things have turned up a lonely alley. The piano skills from this well-respected pianist is of top quality as usual and you feel the pain in this song. A fine effort.

Roy Dae speeds in with the the striking ‘One of Them Ones’

Rapper Roy Dae speeds in with his latest effort called ‘One of Them Ones‘.

Former Pro Basketball player and now emcee, Roy Dae, first began to gain traction in the music business with his previous street banger ‘Rolex Diamonds‘. He returns with this new release and shows a growing wordsmith who is very confident in his abilities. He sets the mood here on this one and is worried that a girl wants to tie him down. He is in no mood for this and feels like this is his time.

She wants to be with you so bad but you like being single, this is your moment in the music career and you know you will have time for that later. Things could be bumpy as you are great together but you like being free and partying wherever and whenever you like.

‘One of Them Ones‘ from rapper Roy Dae flows in with a tight Hip Hip track with lots of trap influences. It will be fascinating to see if this artist evolves or stays with this sound.

Beautifully created Alt Indie with Flat Feet’s ‘Renegades’

This is Alt Indie at it’s finest with Flat Feet’s terrific new single called ‘Renegades‘.

Flat Feet’s ‘Renegades‘ is a wonderfully made song that echoes through the world’s barriers and worries.

With the sultry vocals of the wonderful Dayana and Max on drums, this is a true team effort. They team up to create a song with a catchy hook, the beat is low, the drums tap in with style and this is all-round goodness with a fish in the jar.

I get lost in the vocals so much on ‘Renegades‘. The Flat Feet team impresses on this fine track that gets you in the mood to go on a road-trip or go for a run. The beat is fantastic and I like everything about this. This is a group that just make quality music to make us smile.

Welsh band Twin Stranger return with awesome 3rd single ‘White’

Indie Rock/Avant-pop group from South Wales, Twin Stranger, are back with a fiery new song and it’s called ‘White‘.

Twin Stranger is a Welsh 5 piece power-pop project led by singer and multi-instrumentalist Alex McConnachie. The band’s sound is a mix of hooky bass-driven pop melodies, synth freak-outs and dreamy guitar soundscapes. Initially a bedroom recording project, McConnachie enlisted his multi-instrumentalist brother Liam as well as friends, bassist Josh Newington, Joe Tobin on keyboards and drummer Eric Karvik.

Following 2 successful singles so far in 2020 (‘Tears of Joy‘ and ‘Crushed‘), this is the new single that half of Wales have been waiting for. ‘White’ has a peaceful energy to it and I love the baselines here.

“The song is about the type of night where things start to go a bit pear shaped, people get intoxicated and one person says the wrong thing and the night escalates. I always end up being the mediator, trying desperately to defuse the situation.” This is Alex’s words and he is to be admired for this attitude. You always need someone who keeps the peace.

‘White’ from Twin Stranger is a strong new song from the awesome Welsh band who sound like a class outfit. With incredible riffs and flows, they are a quality UK act that must be bursting at the seams to play live again.

Cardiff’s Sarah Brown changes direction on breathless ‘Liability’

Pop-Soul singer-songwriter from Cardiff in Wales, Sarah Brown, is back with another self-aware track with lots of powerful vocals called ‘Liability‘.

You feel like you always do what you believe but some people try and bring you down. You are in the mood of going on your own journey and you feel its your time. Small-minded people try and knock you down but you are just going to dust off any doubt and do you think. I love this mentality and it feels like Sarah has the right vibe right now to succeed.

The Cardiff-based singer has such a sultry voice as she breathlessly shines here and hits some supremely high notes that impresses the speakers. ‘Liability‘ is a bouncy song that is her way of showing what she is made of. The future is so bright for the artist that can do so many different styles that shows her emergence on the UK music scene.

Super Love sends in indie-rock with flair on ‘Dirty Liar’

Super Love rock in with their edgy and unique style on ‘Dirty Liar‘.

The boldly distinctive style of Super Love starts with pairing multi-layered lyrics and cross-genre grooves, building each track into a unique yet familiar sonic experience. The band has been influenced by the local style of New York City, involving piano in their expressive sound and incorporating elements in their work from numerous sub-genres, including punk and jazz.

Formed in 2019 by Constance Watkins (lead vocals) and Jared Watkins (multi-instrumentalist), they write and record in a brownstone townhouse in the city. These two make a great team and you can tell that they are perfectly in sync.

‘Dirty Liar‘ is an exciting song full of distortion, full of intriguing vibes that simmers through to your soul. I love how this band is improving after each song and they play their own style. Authenticity is so rare these days and this is so welcome.

London’s Craig Stuart misses his true love on ‘The Way Love Should Be’

UK singer Craig Stuart pulls at our heartstrings with his love-torn new single called ‘The Way Love Should Be‘.

Craig Stuart is a London based indie-pop singer-songwriter, guitarist and percussionist. He is well traveled and experienced as a performer, busker and troubadour and has tallyed up nearly 300 flights in the last 5 years to travelling the world with his guitar, playing 6 of the 7 continents. This is a man that will do whatever it takes to perform his music all over the globe.

Having previously been a part of the London Underground Busking scheme for many years gained him a mass amount of experience as a performer and being able to interact with his audience which plays a vital role in his shows to this day. Craig was previously in a band as the sole songwriter before parting ways and taking is venture as a solo artist, where he lays down his emotional side into heart felt melancholic pop songs. He is ready to perform wherever he is wanted, this is a determined young artist with big dreams.

‘The Way Love Should Be‘ from Craig Stuart is a song all about loving someone so much. You care for them deeply but something has happened and that spark of passion is now over. A sad song and one that is well-performed by this talented singer-songwriter.

Detroit’s Kevin Bailey is back in a big way with the bouncy Hip Hop track with R&B smoothness on ‘Tony Spark‘.

A no stress life is the way to go and this is the story here on this cruisin’ super fly style Hip Hop track. You just wanna keep it 420 and do the things you really want to do while reflecting on life. You just wanna the whole family with you otherwise it’s not fun to be successful. That is the aim, making it to the top and not letting go.

‘Tony Spark‘ is a Kevin Bailey special that certainly raises the pulse on this R&B and Hip Hop slider. This is an artist who’s music is perfect for those weekend vibes while you are with the crew and enjoying life. At the same time, you are happy to be alive and feel so blessed. The world is crazy right now but you can still get things done.
