Lovable Marty returns with a positive message and happy hearts on ‘’Dance With You’

It won’t be long now. I don’t know about you but I really miss dancing with other humans. The feeling and smiles, that warm embrace or even the drunken shouting in the ear if it’s with a mate during a night out. Ah, good times.

Marty’ is an all-female band based in Nottingham in the UK, dedicated to experimenting with new sounds and styles and trying out a multitude of genres. After doing solo work before, the three girls joined together to form the band, bringing their individual musical influences and performance styles to the group. Whilst only being a band for just over a year, the group have made a good impact and when the music scene opens up again, expect them to be on many exciting lineups.

I love ‘Marty’s’ sound. They mesh well together and make beautiful music. This is a band that deserves the big stage and I can’t wait to see them live.

Dance with ‘Marty’ and immerse yourself in their beautiful music on Spotify.

June – Natural Love: The Discord of Humility

Ohio based R&B singer songwriter and artist June has create one of the most synergetic tracks of 2017 with his Soul inspired rendition Natural Love. For any fans of the delectability of Kendrick Lamar, you’re in for a treat. The mid-tempo mix is more than just a track that belongs to a genre. It’s raw, human, scorned emotion in lyrical form.

His debut track Natural Love is backed by a pounding and resonant track the ominous synth beat drifts in and out, perfectly complementing the melancholy of June’s vocals as they traverse through his pensive lyrics. The track doesn’t just skim the surface of emotion, it reaches deep into the psyche, haunting you with the staggering parallels which he offers you through the verse.  The humble humility flows through his lyrics to trap you into his torment which he projects into the track.

Throughout his discography, he’s created a truly elective mix of sounds, some steeped in 80’s synth, whilst others he chooses the acoustic guitar to accompany the humble humility which he shares through his sound.

M.R.J – What Can I Say?

Everyone needs a song like Unfinished Business by M.R.J in the soundtracks to their lives. Euphoric, funk dabbled, electro indie pop beats finished with the quintessence of an infectiously upbeat styling, who could beat it? Not many, that’s why stumbling across the gems that make up M.R.J’s track list was a pretty special moment. The contemporary Pop scene is a minefield at best, you never know what mixed bag of overproduced atrocities is waiting for you on the other side of the play button. So I’d like to thank M.R.J in restoring my faith in the Pop scene with this uniquely refreshing style. If you’re a fan of acts such as Alex Cameron & Jack Ladder, you’re going to love M.R.J.

Yet Unfinished Business incorporates the right amount of trepidation in his tracks to make sure you feel the full immersive explosion which accompanies the synthesised chorus.

Whilst the undeniable history of Pop is implored with the styling of M.R.J’s track, it’s clear that he sets his own standard and tone when it comes to his music.

The London based Pop artist always has new tracks in the mix, however in the mean time why not pop across where you can sample his latest hit Unfinished Business?
