For their latest release, the 18-year-old Belgian producer lullaby (Sana) sculpted an immersive 35-minute auditory odyssey which offers a seamless plunge into introspection. despairing boy aspiring poet begins with an ambient trip-hop atmosphere that immediately sets a reflective and transcendent tone; as the release evolves, glitch-wave textures creep in, wrapping around the psyche before the calm is shattered by bass surges that arrive without warning, only to fade just as quickly.

The distorted, autotuned vocals amplify the emotive intensity as they caress the semi-lucid motifs that dominate the record which isn’t content to sit comfortably in one genre; evidenced by the post-hardcore instrumentals which disrupt the ambience, only to give way once more to sublime serenity.

Drawing inspiration from ambient music’s emotional depth and the raw energy of dubstep, lullaby juxtaposes atmospheric textures with evocative melodies, crafting tracks that resonate both cerebrally and viscerally. Their self-taught production skills are wholly exhibited as they push the boundaries of sound design, orchestrating contrasting textures into a wholly unique sonic identity.

With curveball after curveball, lullaby ensures the audience is never static, constantly shifting between serenity and chaos.

Simon Ewing serenaded through the eras in his acoustic indie folk triumph LULLABY

Simon Ewing’s latest single, LULLABY, artfully blends a spectrum of musical epochs with a mastery of guitar play that fans of folk and beyond will find irresistibly compelling. The track is a confluence of lo-fi charm and intricate guitar work that nods to The Maccabees’ Toothpaste Kisses while embedding a distinctly Americana vibe interlaced with blues’ soulful essence.

Synth yourself to sleep with Curtis Melton’s Firefly Lullaby

The endlessly accoladed American composer, conductor and music educator Curtis Melton dusted off his analogue synths to orchestrate the ultimate instrumental soundtrack to synth yourself to sleep.

Firefly Lullaby is a definitively 80s ambient score with majestic overtones that invite you into a scintillating fantasia of pop and romanticism-soaked synthwave; insomnia doesn’t stand a chance against the glistening motifs and crescendos that are endlessly efficacious in their ability to allow your subconscious to take the lead.

His sonic scores are achievements standing alone. In addition to them, in 2015, he was nominated for “Best Original Score” at the Idyllwild International Film Festival, in the same year, he won “Best Original Song” at the Las Vegas 48 Hour Film Festival. He was named a finalist in the Ravel Association International Soundtrack Competition in Italy in 2016, and was named a semi-finalist in The American Prize Composer Competition in 2018 for his original works “The Genesis Effect” and “Forever Through The Fire”.

Birdeatsbaby – Ribbons: A Silver Screen Post-Rock Lullaby

The coven, Birdeatsbaby, has reconvened to conjure the witchy alchemy found in the first single released from their occultist album, HEX. While I probably haven’t heard them all, it is still safe to say that ‘Ribbons’ is one of the most cinematic dark progressive lullabies ever scored.

By the time the outro hits, it’s hard not to feel desperation to hear what else is in store from the forthcoming LP. Whatever they’ve poured into their unique transfusions of baroque rock and metal is sure to beguile just as much as anything that In This Moment has produced. Notably, they’ve got a talent for balancing gravitas with catharsis.

Taken from her highly-anticipated new album called ‘Black Widow‘, Kristin Venae is quite superb on her latest single that is the follow-up to ‘Still Here‘, with a beautifully romantic single called ‘Lullaby‘.

Kristin Venae is an Australian indie soul-pop artist, actor and model, who is a former member of Latin groups Ritmo De Tropical, Loose Minds and The Magnificent Companeros.

Featuring a blend of stunning aroma which lifts the atmosphere and aromatically has you reaching for that lighter as the candles are feeling lonely, as the wine is poured and two hearts are brought closer. The energy is certainly hot here as this steam-filled track takes you to a moment which is so uncommon in this click and swipe world, as you look into each others eyes and vow to never be apart.

“Lullaby” from the multi-talented Australia-based indie soul-pop artist, actor and model Kristin Venae, is such a sweet song all about feeling that supreme rush when you are around someone who you can’t believe is next to you. The feeling is so right and you never want to let the moment go, as she sings with a real true love feeling with terrific vocals attached. This is the type of song to dance with romantically, when you are with that special soul who you just want to be with all night and beyond.

Janae Genna takes us ‘Down the Creek’ with her artful folk single featuring Alex Johnston.

Down the Creek is the latest single to be released by the conceptually expressive singer-songwriter Janae Genna, featuring vocals from Alex Johnston. It was co-written by Janae Genna and Justin Brittain as part of the score for the film, Here Now. The accordant lullaby starts archetypally before the folksy single takes on an eerier tone, progressing almost in the same way as the cult-hit folk film Midsommar – before all the gore.`

Janae Genna’s and Alex Johnston’s layered harmonies give the otherwise minimalist soundscape a panoramically dynamic feel but as the single gears towards the outro, an uneasiness nestles into the release. The sense of anticipation it leaves you with could only be described as immense. You come to expect an ending akin to Nick Cave’s Where the Wild Roses Grow, you’re left with a foreboding unknown.

The inspirational and soothing song has your whole mind in a relaxed state, as he takes us to a happier place above, with his softly spoken poetic-like words and style has all the stress wiped away like an iron getting out the creases warmly and with precision.

‘Lullaby‘ from the Welsh singer-songwriter dWyn, is a fantastic piece of beauty from a dark time in our history. He has the blessed ability to strike your whole body with soothing energy, as he brings us a peaceful ode to help us sleep again. A true underground classic is the overriding feeling here and this is a remarkable effort that has clearly been made with such love and care.
