Skylar Bennett releases Pop single Lately

https://soundcloud.com/skylarbennett/lately/s-q1SLyB1xGrJ

Skylar Bennett has dropped his single ‘Lately’ this Pop track has this happy and uplifting feeling about it, with its super energetic vocals and infectious melodies.

Starting off with this soft instrumentation that collides in the background, always making sure that it’s upbeat and lively throughout as the beat does tend to get louder and a bit more crazy.

This song is powerful and as you listen, you instantly feel good and it’s one that boosts your mood within a few seconds because it has this high energy and fun way about it and that’s why it’s such an amazing piece of music.

Skylar has some incredible vocal ranges, keeping that same soft texture as the overall sound has and having the rather modulated melodic vocal that really makes this song stand out. The way in which the instrumental flows in an out of the unique vocals is perfect.

A&R Factory Present: Rushes debut single “Wild High”

Contrast would be the best word to describe singer-songwriter/producer Rushes. Growing up in a small rural town in Ireland isn’t something you normally associate with soulful cutting edge electronic sounds. The time had finally come for Rushes to fly the coop and explore his opportunities by moving to Dublin permanently to refine his craft and link up with innovators who understood his vision.

In 2017, Rushes joined creative collection Diffusion Lab, who has the likes of Soulé and Jafaris in their ranks to bring his diverse ideas alive. Rushes draws inspiration from artists like N.E.R.D, D’Angelo, Frank Ocean, Radiohead, Jai Paul, Kanye West, Marvin Gaye and Prince but never limits his sonic palette.

Rushes debut single “Wild High” droped on May 26th. An alluring blend of electro-RnB infused with smooth wavy vocals and perfectly polished production.

With “Wild High”, Rushes launches himself into the eye of the music industry with the intent of being heard. For visuals, he teamed up with Gorilla – Nathan Barlow, responsible for Soulé, Jafaris recent music videos.

A&R Factory Present: Marble Empire

At just 20, Matt Berry aka Marble Empire already has credits remixing for the likes of Jack Garrett. But the producer/artist (as stated on his Twitter page) is now ready to make a name for himself.

Twenty is the latest offering from the Surrey native who credits the likes of NAO and Jungle as his main influences. The deep-house cut demonstrates Berry’s ear for an infectious hook.

In his dulcet tone, Berry recounts a situation where he was urged to try harder in a relationship. ‘Don’t stop doing what you want / Just try a little harder with me’ he sings against a bouncy synth heavy beat.

NAO’s influence on Berry can be heard throughout the song right from the start, but he steers clear of coming across as an outright copycat, with the production sounding more like a gentle nod of appreciation.

More likely to be heard in trendy wine bars in central London rather than the nightclubs of South England, Marble Empire sounds confident and determined to show what he is capable of. Singing may not be Berry’s main forté, but when the music is this good who really cares?
