Lord Spark invites us to The Tuscan Garden in his latest ethereal pop track.

With his latest electropop hit, the artfully enigmatic artist Lord Spark obliterated the monocultural mould while constructing a sun-soaked earworm that paradoxically carries the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside while lavishing the airwaves with energetic dance-pop.

When an artist is as passionate about evoking positive change in their culture through their music as they are about their sound, the aural results will always be arresting. But with the ensnaring serpentine rhythms and the natural magnetism in his vocal timbre, it is easy feel hypnotised by the narrative single. In the best possible way, if Copacabana was a queer pop track, it would be The Tuscan Garden.

Along with his mission to ascend the charts, Lord Spark seeks to smash the toxic traditionalism that he grew up around in the conservative Italian countryside. His bold and vibrant vocal presence in his tender, vulnerable and androgynous latest release does just that.

Leon Seti delivered the ‘Antidote’ with their latest compassionate pop single

With his authentic sound, Leon Seti has graced the iTunes Electronica Chart in Italy and caught the attention of BBC Introducing in the UK. Usually, he’s a one-man-melodic-machine, taking charge of writing, performing and production, but for his latest single, ‘Antidote’, he utilised the arpeggio guitars of guitarist, Francis. It’s safe to say that the collaborative chemistry melancholically blossomed.

Antidote is a stripped-back affair instrumentally, but with Leon Seti’s vocals atop of the minimalist acoustic folk-pop guitars, the single has enough gravity and gravitas to pull you in. Even though there is plenty of reminiscence in the single to Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car, the distinction lies within the realism. It oozes affection yet, Leon Seti kept the lyrics grounded within realism, making it infinitely more resonant than your average pop hit paying ode to an unattainable Hollywood-style romance.

Since making his debut in 2015, the Italy and London-based artist has moved from strength to strength and amassed plenty of type along the way. They may have diverged from their usual sound with Antidote, but this timely release was an all too welcome introduction to Seti’s softer side that will allow the listener to feel braver about baring their own.

‘Thank You for Your Complaints’ is a wave crashing journey from Emilya ndMe

‘Thank You for Your Complaints‘ from Emilya ndMe is a riveting listen and definitely the most cinematic song of the year so far.

Emilya ndMe is the stage name of the talented Lauretta Galeno is a songwriter from Genoa in Italy. with several collaborations and appearances on prestigious Italian stages. A producer, performer and songwriter, this is one incredible musician and creative.

Ethereal electronic pop is the feel here, the haunting sound catches your attention and you first turn on the song. You just know something special is going to happen.

‘Thank You for Your Complaints‘ from Italian native Emilya ndMe is the final single from her album of the same name and the standard is so high the whole way through. I love how her vocals are capable of anything and this is pure music to support. The crystal clear voice takes me into a whole new world of self-discovery.

“CIAO CIAO” is the upcoming single from breaking Italian Alt Pop artist Lita. With the bilingual vocals, her cinematically expressive Pop hit is a track which could enamour Pop fans worldwide.

Lita’s Italian roots are weaved into the mix through stunning operatic vocals giving CIAO CIAO a slightly haunting and dramatic tone. Yet, Lita brings the tonal warmth back up to a cordial temperature with her own vocals.

If you can draw yourself away from the vocal alchemy in CIAO CIAO, you’ll be able to appreciate the level of distinction in the vibrant, stylistically intricate beats. Whether you hear this track drop on a dancefloor or your drive home, you’re bound to admire her ability to create a danceable yet undemanding track.

The track was written for anyone who feels displaced, and like they never really have a place to call home after moving away. The sentiment definitely doesn’t fail to resonate.
