The young Russian D-Anna, a singer-songwriter  who now made the move to Boston to study at at Berklee College of Music brings us a lovely single in ‘Not Today‘, and this young singer shows us her incredible vocal ability in her debut single.

With a sultry voice that flies free like a beautiful butterfly, this is a statement single. A call to say that she is not messing around now, no one is going to hold her down and damage her soul inside. With a pure indie pop with some house elements that drift in nicely like a water-park slide on a Saturday afternoon.

This is a song that makes you think, you smile and admire this artist for her elegant style. You get the feeling that she is finding her voice and is on the way to expressing her message to the world. She has a voice that keeps you lock in and you feel like you have found your new favourite artist.

Retro House Carousel drop the lock and smash in with the busty ‘Closure‘ that sends waves through the music scene.

Born and raised in Manhattan, and now residing in Boston, Retro House Carousel has been building up his experimental sounds that are all grounded nicely in a crazy storm of rock, electric, and rap genres. All bundled into one, this is a mixture that will raise the temperature.

With a funky beat, we are now in a smokey basement while listening to this fresh new song. You are on a mission for closure but something is holding back, you feel left for dead but things will change. You just need to turn a few right corners and you will be okay. This is the life that is in front of you right now and the trail can be dusty.

‘Closure‘ from Retro House Carousel is a fantastic new single that draws you in, you can’t help but appreciate the technical elements here. This is one to turn up real loud.

Wisconsin musician Evan Lane drop spectacular ‘Gravity of You’

Evan Lane is a proudly Milwaukee-based music teacher, former barista and artist who is back with the new single called ‘Gravity of You‘, this is a terrific track with flavor.

This multi-talented vocalist, violist, pop pianist and musician is quite soothing on the latest single as we are treated to a song that captures your attention right away. Taken off full 7 track album ‘Etude‘, this is a full time music lover who has so much passion for music. The love on this song is so clear to see and this indie pop journey builds up during the track.

You are drawn so much to your crush, they give you peace within when you think of them. You are drawn to them so much and want things to be happy and love-filled, not alone like 2020.

‘Gravity of You‘ from Evan Lane is an ode to that classic music. This is authentic and takes you to a different place. You feel peaceful and free, enjoying the feeling inside of this indie special.

The incomparable UK band 8udDha bl0od are imperious on ‘Herb Albert Arturo & The 5UPer Silver Haze‘ and this is a ride that will have you gasping for air through the journey of life.

The tingled start shines early on with the guitar and harmonica trading turns to wake us up inside. This is that type of music to turn on when you just wake up, when you still need to brush your teeth and take a shower. The quality resonates with the track as we are transported into a magnificent world.

The Brighton band with a style like no other, 8udDha bl0od continue to stun on this new release. Their style changes each song, single are dropped like a life-awakening moment. You look forward to each song as this is creative music. This is authentic, real and feels good in the ears. ‘Herb Albert Arturo & The 5UPer Silver Haze‘ is a blaze in the sky, the smokey story gives you a buzz like no other.

‘Carolina‘ from Dutch musician Nomden is a journey into the old school on this stunning love story. This is a remix of the original from the ‘Wingman Returns‘ album and a flourishing effort which is released through To Be Frank Records.

Despite being at ease with fellow musicians around him on stage, Netherlands born singer-songwriter and former youth footballer, Nomden, has always had a preference of working alone when it comes to his studio work. A visionary is apparent, this is a man who has played with many artists and he loves music, Arranging music especially is on the radar of this musician who makes beautiful music.

‘Carolina‘ from Dutch musician Nomden warms the heart and this is a track with such soul, the different instruments and arrangement makes you smile and reflect. A singer-songwriter with a wide experience in the music game who makes music to heal. This is the type of artist to support in this wild world, his voice drenched in stories from the world, this is a song to reflect to and heal the soul with.

5 piece band Galloway glide in with the fresh new trim track ‘Buzzcut‘ and this is a song that gets your attention real fast and sweeps you off your feet.

Galloway are based outta Boone in North Carolina and they combines aspects of indie, rock, pop, and alternative to fuse into a tasty ice-cold beverage of cool music to keep you happy in 2020. This is the indie feel-free type of music that heals all as one. This is the song you turn up and close your eyes, you feel the goodness as it is glistened into your ears.

‘Buzzcut‘ from Galloway is all about keeping things simple with friends. Hanging with friends has become so much tougher but you know you need in life. To be really happy that is. This is a group that is only making true music for the soul. They avoid fake radio style music and this is the type of music we all need to support.

October Brigade ft Liel Bar-Z brings our new indie-pop spellbinder ‘No Tears for Tomorrow‘ and this is a quality listen for our souls.

With prolific Liel Bar-Z from Los Angeles on vocals, October Brigade are a well-respected Music Production & Songwriting Team featuring vocalists from around the world. They have made a great decision in having Liel on vocals as with their signature sound, this is a great listen from start until finish.

‘No Tears for Tomorrow‘ is about the sad times that have befallen us and how youngsters have to grow up so fast these days. Hopefully the world can be set free again so that all of us can be outside again, feeling free and not avoiding humans. This is a call out to find others that feel the same and can create happy vibes without judgement.

October Brigade and Liel Bar-Z combine like a perfectly cooked dinner and the steamy warm feeling is heard throughout. This is a song to play on the weekend when you are feeling reflective and the quality is effortless. All-round a fine single release in 2020.

Lauren Kidd is brilliant on her new indie-folk single ‘Sunday’s Best‘, a peaceful song about love that is of such beauty to listen to and heal with.

Queens, New York based singer-songwriter Lauren Kidd breezes in with a voice and style that makes you listen to twice. The former vocalist/guitarist of Clearview, the solo mission is now the ride for a while. This is an artist who can see the world clearer than most, experiences have made an old soul of someone so young. With a song that is so sweet, sad and inspiring at the same

‘Sunday’s Best‘ is a terrific song from the soulful Lauren Kidd and she sings with such passion. The undertone is soft but made with love, her vivid voice takes you to another world, you want to support her and hope that she finds that true love. That love that makes you smile, that person who is there when you are really need them.

‘Never’ from Salt Lake City band Steve Michels & Foreign Figures is a widely enjoyable rock single

Orem in Utah is the home of Foreign Figures and they are in formidable form here on ‘Never‘.

The band members are Steve Michels, EJ Michels, Seth78, JonnyT and they all met while overseas and this bond has only strengthened over time. The sounds are explosive, well-delivered and with a flair that is so rare these days.

After proudly sharing the stage with the likes of X Ambassadors, Lukas Graham, Kesha, and American Authors plus touring their first EP ‘Overzealous‘ throughout the USA in 2019, the band hit the studio to create their next wave of music. The year has been crazy but productive too.

This is a love-filled pop rock track about wanting to be with someone so badly that it hurts. You are on a daydream and just want to be happy and not be a ghost. You feel that this love would be so strong if given the chance. Sadly things don’t seem to be working for you this time. You may need to find a new love or fight through for now.

Foreign Figures are on top form with ‘Never‘ and this is a late night song that is both sad and reflective, the mystery of love is all to see. The Utah band are a dazzling outfit that are worth a listen.

Tamarind Dream take us on a groovy lo-fi ride with ‘Grapefruit‘ and this is a lovely track to help us all in 2020.

This young London-based group and are making waves and we are just enjoying the ocean. This is so smooth with classy attributes for our ears.

You fight so hard for that extra bit of energy. It’s that bittersweet moment as you know that it is there but you need to find it. New memories are on the way and you just need to fight through this currently moment. Time will help but you you want this moment now.

Tamarind Dream are quite glorious on the new single called ‘Grapefruit‘. This is a fruit lo-fi mix of wonderful music that will surely cheer you up. This is one of the best tracks of the year so far due to its awesome vibe and subtle lyrics. Here is some pure Psychedelic R&B that will make you happy. This is a welcome 2020 release and this is a fine track.
