Acoustic pop raconeteur Jack Holler disarms with the rugged charm in his single, The Foolsong

Acoustic pop raconteur Jack Holler won our hearts and minds while arresting our rhythmic pulses with his stripped-back acoustic single, The Foolsong. It’s just as humbly disarming as the title implies.

It’s always immediately obvious whether an artist aims for sincere expression or shoots for the lofty unattainability of perfection. Holler has clearly pitched a tent and started a fire in the former camp with this everyman-indie-folk-blues-pop serenade which traverses the very human inclination to become love’s fool once the fabled cherub locks and draws his arrows.

Between Glenn Hansard and Jack Johnson, you will find Holler’s ruggedly affectionate charm within The Foolsong. We can’t wait to hear the full LP from Holler and his band, who have been around since 2018, with their debut EP, Not Even Close, hitting the airwaves the same year.

The official music video for The Foolsong is available to stream on YouTube.

Nav’s Hook takes us through the artistic journey with his uplifting blues pop single, Scribbled Lines.

Up and coming indie luminary Nav’s Hook is fresh from the release of his latest single, Scribbled Lines, which couldn’t be more radio-ready. The affably penned single is enough to single-handedly dilute the bitterness of artists lamenting the hard graft and lack of success. The bluesy pop single paints the full picture of an artists’ often lonely journey and leaves plenty of room for the beauty of the humbling experience.

The single was written during an 18-hour airport layover in a sleep-deprived state that allowed Nav’s Hook to get a fresh delirious perspective on the artistic journey. The sentiment is just as sweet as the chords that shimmer with ease throughout the grooving single. The vocals also do their fair share of uplifting as they work through the lyrics that will be more than resonant for any artist that knows the struggle of sacrificing their financial security for their chance to make connections and positively influence the world.

The official lyric video is now available to stream on YouTube.

Nathan Fox sends a siren call with their intoxicatingly bluesy Alt Pop single “Trouble”

Nathan Fox

If we still believed that exceptional artists sold their soul to the devil in exchange for their talent, we’d be making that very same accusation about up and coming singer-songwriter and instrumentalist Nathan Fox.

Trouble” is their forthcoming intoxicating feat of Alt-Pop which puts Alex Turner’s attempt to be bluesy and cool to shame.

The atmospheric alchemy which comes from the collision between the funk-led arrangement and Nathan Fox’s harmonically raspy vocals is unparalleled from anything else I’ve heard before. I’m pretty sure it will be the same for anyone else that hits play on this trailblazingly ingenious record.

Trouble will be available to stream via all major streaming platforms from October 9th. In the meantime, you can check out their former tracks on their website and keep up to date with news of the release via Facebook.
