Cucurbitophobia has made a phantasmal return with their chillingly dark Avant-Garde release “Exordium”

https://cucurbitophobia.bandcamp.com/track/exordium

There was no forgetting Cucurbitophobia after being introduced to their 2019 single “Requiem”. How could we ever forget an Ambient Avant-Garde artist whose chosen title is also the name of pumpkin phobia?

After the release of their latest soundscape “Exordium”, we couldn’t resist delving into the Neo-Classically artful tones once more. The instrumental score sets up the most phantasmal Waltz-style piano score which has ever crept into your ears. With a significant lacing of ethereal effects, you’ll feel like you’ve just been dragged around a ballroom by a poltergeist. Given that that’s (probably) never happened to you in real life, you’ll have to hit play to know what I mean.

Exordium is the opening title from Cucurbitophobia’s release “Dies Ferialis (Awakening the Lemurs)”. It serves to set the tone for a dark tale of ancient evil spirits wreaking havoc in a modern world to be told. Rather efficaciously may I add. Bring on the apocalyptic festivals and the walking dead.

Levi Para has released their latest ominously cinematic Electronica treat “Rush”

https://soundcloud.com/levipara/rush

Cinematic Industrial artist Levi Para has recently dropped their latest EP “House of the Unknown”. Whilst each track is a dystopian delight to behold, there’s no better introduction to their sound than “Rush”.

If you can imagine what it would sound like if Hanz Zimmer, David Lynch and Bernard Herrmann would sound like if they had an aural love child which they adored, you’d be able to almost get an idea of how chilling Levi Para’s sound is. It’s safe to say that until this release, Industrial Darkwave had never sounded quite this epic.

Complete with horror samples and sonic infusions which are sure to appease any fans of the early Doctor Who series’ Rush is one of the most tantalisingly horror-fuelled eclectic smorgasbords you can sink your teeth into.

Cucurbitophobia Invites You to Feel the Fear with their Latest Piano Composition “Requiem”

As someone who loves nothing more than eagerly ingesting the ominous tones of film scores which are fraught with tension, having the pleasure of discovering up and coming artist Cucurbitophobia, was an incredibly refreshing experience in melancholic aural gloom.

While many artists who create instrumental tracks endeavour to express emotion with the different textures, tonalities and timings of the notes, perhaps none do it as well as Ambient Neo-Classical Avant-Garde compositions such as the latest piece “Requiem”.

The NY based artist whose title is the official term for fear of pumpkins (we couldn’t help but be incredibly enamoured by that) has a deft command over their soundscapes and the ability to orchestrate a soundscape which envelops you until each rhythmic pulse in your body is intricately connected to the progressions.

You can throw yourself into the aural alchemy of Cucurbitophobia’s latest piece Requiem for yourselves by heading over to SoundCloud now.
