This Burning Age cover Sia’s ”Elastic Heart” and make it their own

UK Alt-Electro-Rock Band This Burning Age have just covered Sia’s ”Elastic Heart” and have released a music video too. The video is dark and moody and the band have really put their signature touch on this track.

Their influences range into very different genres such as New Wave, Punk, Post-Punk, Industrial, Neue Deutsche Härte, Synth-pop, Post-Rock, Goth, Drum & Bass and Trip-hop. This is a diverse band and the originally is clear for all to see.

Covers can be up and down but I feel like the This Burning Age have done well with this song and I really enjoyed the video. They take us down a dark and memorizing road that has made this song their own. The video is excellently produced and they they capture the vision perfectly. Whilst some may find this video a bit sad, others will marvel at the creativity. The Birmingham act are going to be pushing their sound as soon as venues open up and will be a must-see live performance as they move up the ranks of the UK music scene.

Stream the song right here and catch more of this exciting band via their YouTube page.

Tasha Fights Tigers – 3 dogs: Alt Rock Doesn’t Get Much More British Than This

https://tashafightstigers.bandcamp.com/track/3-dogs

If you could imagine a combination of Blur’s jovial Indie tones and Eagles of Death Metal’s charismatic comedic swagger, you’d get an idea of what to expect from Tasha Fights Tigers’ standout single “3 dogs” from their album “Union Jack Soundtrack”.

The sentiment may not be ostentatiously serious, but the level of instrumental mastery contained in 3 dogs definitely is. In short, it’s a punchy riotous hit which offers a fine mix of rhythmic mesmerism along with plenty of personably nerdy accessibility.

Fuzzy Electro Rock hit its geeky peak with 3 dogs. It’s almost like Tasha Fights Tigers predicted the election results and knew the UK could do with some cheering up with the quaintly delightful soundscape.

You can check out 3 dogs along with the rest of Tasha Fights Tigers’ latest album via Bandcamp.

THEYRETHERE – (Let Me Be) HŪMN: Bass-Driven Genre-Defiance

Any fans of Highly Suspect, Royal Blood, and Imagine Dragons are going to want to check out what Alt Rock Hip Hop artist THEYRETHERE has cooked up with their latest single “(Let Me Be) HŪMN”

The single which dropped on April 19th packs in plenty of experimentalism, yet, the infectious grip of (Let Me Be) HŪMN doesn’t give you much time to decide if you are going to get caught up in the high energy of the track. Rather than the prelude showing you what is in store throughout the single, it acts as the simple, soft beginning to a mix which uses plenty of harsh, reverberant digital effect. By the time the track fades out, there’s no questioning the prodigal flair of THEYRETHERE.

We can’t wait to hear what THEYRETHERE has up their sleeves from the rest of their upcoming EP.

Somuchso – Last Night: A Debut of Funk-addled Electro Rock

If I was rating Somuchso’s latest track Last Night out of ten, I wouldn’t hesitate before slapping a double digit seal of approval on their highly progressive sound. To learn that Last Night was the first ever single still has me transfixed in awe. Putting a pin in their sound is a near impossible task, their pioneering approach to their sound is like nothing I’ve ever heard before. The infinitely seamless guitar chord progressions alongside the wavy synths, cacophonic organ playing, and frankly stunning vocals was an experience that I’m sure many bands further into the their career could only hope to achieve.

If you could imagine more Funk, Groove and synthy synergy to a Chris Cornell track you’d get pretty close to Somuchso’s sound.  If Somuchso’s funk-addled Electro vibes sounds right up your street head on over to YouTube where you can check out the new hit Last Night which was first released on March 8th, 2018.
