3oland goes all in with his indie electro pop track ‘Whatever You Want from Me’

After making an unforgettable impression on us with his 2020 single, ‘You Keep Running’, Copenhagen-residing pop artist 3oland has released his brooding, glassy single, ‘Whatever You Want from Me’ and left us even more assured that he’s one to watch with his contemporary yet undeniably accessible sound.

If you could imagine what it would sound like if 90s pop artists carried the style and gravitas of contemporary alt-indie-pop icons, you’ll get an idea of what is on offer in Whatever You Want from Me. It’s a touching lyrical tale of self-sacrifice and an invitation to one of witness the sincerest forms of unconditional love; there’s no doubt it came straight from the soul.

Whatever You Want from Me is now available to stream on SoundCloud.

You can also check out 3oland via his website, Instagram and Facebook.

You can feel her heartbeat and this is all that you want in life. That special one that makes you all giddy inside. You smile and just want her to come home. if she comes now you two can share this special moment and keep things so simple. You know when she is sad and happy as her heartbeat is different. Will this love story end well is the question here or will it end up in tears?

Hit The Hay are a soulful band are from Copenhagen in Denmark and are quite a new act on the scene. They sound like they have been around for ages however and this is the follow up to early 2020’s ”Long Way Home”.

This is indie-pop on another level and they make it count on ”Heartbeat”. The vocals are so precise without trying to force anything. This song will surely be on many Spotify playlists due to its inner beauty and meaningful message.

A real gemstone in the rough here. The Danish band have such soul and have played themselves into my heart. The lyrics and music arrangement levels are up there with the best. Hit The Hay are here to stay.

Australia’s April And The Drift deliver illuminating jazzy-reggae 2020 soundtrack with ”Garbage Rules”

April And The Drift is a spellbinding singer-songwriter with a life long dedication to elevating her majestic music skill set and the results are gift wrapped with delicious jazzy blues reggae treats. The songwriter who was born and raised in Copenhagen is so honest and showcases her voice splendidly here. Teaming up with multi-talented lead guitarist and pianist Fidel Carmona, the duo primarily go the organic route. They utilize natural instruments that slide straight through your sensitive soul.

With a horror theme park sound to begin this masterpiece- this marks the year that is 2020. Unfortunately garbage leadership is holding back the world right now and the stench is quite horrifying. Luckily April And The Drift send through a jazzy-reggae and soul-pleasing song to make us all happy inside our weary brains.

April’s sultry, sensual but always classy vocals mixed with the ska reggae vibes adds a shoulder hugging song that rises above all pettiness on ”Garbage Rules”.

This is a marvelous soundtrack that keep your energy up with lots to think about. Australian based April And The Drift highly impress here and this is one of the best songs of the year by far. Rubbish dominates right now but times are changing. Mount Glorious is how high this sound elevates me.

Dream Pop Meets Neo-Soul in DaveJavu’s Blissfully Transcendent Debut Single “Summer Sun”

https://soundcloud.com/davejavumusic/summer-sun/s-lbAgZ

Dream Pop meets Neo-Soul in up and coming artist DaveJavu’s debut single Summer Sun. The sun-kissed oceanic single oozes authenticity and good vibes in equal measure. Not only do you get a taste of the Copenhagen-based artist’s creative ingenuity, but you also get to immerse yourself in hypnotically transcendent waves of gentle euphoria.

The track was inspired by the feelings of happiness when something goes right in the world. Even if you haven’t felt that way in a while, Summer Sun invites you to feel those very same warm fuzzy feelings.

Expect a Mike Patton level of aural invention from Summer Sun. I never thought I’d see the day where I’d get to say that about the debut single from an up and coming artist. Naturally, we’re all too stoked to hear that Summer Sun is just the first track to drop from DaveJavu’s upcoming album Beach Groove Odyssey.

You can check out Summer Sun for yourselves from June 19th via SoundCloud.
