House gets a Chiptune infusion with Asercandro’s debut “VOY X AHÍ”

2020 has sucked for so many reasons, but the number of artists and producers making their debut has been a sweetener amongst the chaos, confusion and tragedies. Alt Electro artist Asercandro can count himself amongst our aural saviours after the release of their high-vibe debut.

VOY X AHÍ is a testament to the Puerto Rican-based producer’s ability to implant ecstasy within the glitchy electronic progressions which, in turn, become an earworm and implant themselves in between your synapses.

To create the high-vibe and energetically electric hit, Asercandro borrowed a fair amount of inspiration from 8-bit and 16-bit videogames. Yet, under the artist’s retro-futuristic rhythmic prowess, it’s safe to say, you’ve never enjoyed Chiptune like this before.

Chiptune and Grungy Garage Rock converge in Fake-Bit Rebel’s debut single “Green Eyes”

Never did I think I’d see the day where I’d get to experience grungy Garage Rock in 8-bit form. But after the release of Fake-Bit Rebel’s debut single “Green Eyes,” I got to appreciate the alchemy which spilt by the raucously evocative aural ingenuity.

The glitchy notes spiked through the walls of noisy distorted guitars which carved euphorically galvanizing choruses and created the perfect platform for Fake-Bit Rebel’s vocals which will be a hit with any fans of Blink-182, Weezer, Jimmy Eat World and Taking Back Sunday.

It’s the kind of track you hit play on and immediately want to tell your friends about the aural gem that left you endeared and excitable in equal measure.

Komputer Kid – Summer Again: Infectiously Euphoric 80s-Inspired Synth Pop

Embrace the nostalgias of summers past with up and coming artist Komputer Kid’s synthy glitchy 80s Synth Pop hit “Summer Again”.

The infectious melodies will leave you a pretty stubborn perennial earworm and plenty imagery of 80s dancefloors where big hair and dayglo spandex reigned supreme. It may be lyrically light, but that just leaves your mind with more room to explore the transcendent track which pulls in nuanced infusions of Chiptune.

The Alt-Pop euphoric danceable hit may not be everyone’s cup of tea with their retro take, but anyone who appreciates an old school analog vibe in a modernistic high-vibe production will definitely appreciate the sound which Komputer Kid distinctively offers.

DK – Okay: Soulfully-Sweet Inventively-Fresh Polyphonic Pop

We can always tell when good vibes have been made the cornerstone of a single, and it’s all too evident that Urban Alt Pop artist DK made it the essence of his recently released single “Okay”.

Throughout the tonally vibrant track, you’ll hear the repetition of the mantra “I’ll be okay”, with plenty of inspiring introspection in between. By the time you get to the outro, don’t be surprised if the playfully polyphonic mix has lifted your spirits and organically offered a heavy serving of optimism. It’s impossible not to be endeared by the feat of Hip Hop, Pop, Soul, and RnB.

I have a feeling of any fans of Nintendo-style chiptune tracks will definitely want Okay on their playlists.
