The Liberace of punk, Cinemartyr, are back in proggy Avant-Garde form in ‘No Legacy’

Baroque folk meets prog rock in the latest single, No Legacy, from the NYC-residing Avant-Garde outfit, Cinemartyr who have lasciviously been stealing the crown of the boldest aural architects since their original formation in 2008.

The doomy, heavy guitars follow the ultimate head-banging formula as the riffs keep on getting brought back slower for the aphrodisiacal angsty effect. While Irish folk nuances, from founding member, Shane Harrington’s geographical ghetto past, sporadically eke in through the pull of classical strings and the tonal shifts in Amber Moon’s vocal eccentricity. The era-hopping vocal lines are enough to put Kate Bush and Dua Lipa in the same league.

Keep them on your radar for the release of their forthcoming album, OPT OUT, which will be available to to stream and purchase from June 17th.

The official music video premiered on March 3rd; you can stream it for yourselves via YouTube.

Alt Rock band Sacred impress on significant ”Berlin Wall”

Alt Rock band Sacred return for deep and meaningful track ”Berlin Wall”. They reminisce about how times were back in the day when the Berlin Wall fell back in 1989 and the whole incredible moment. This was a huge day in the world and very significant in Germany of course. The band speak about the feeling of the locals on that big day and how it changed everything emotionally.

The band have a really good style about them and certainly sound tight as an outfit. This is high tempo Alt Rock that certainly pushes the volume up here. I like the sound of Sacred and they have a huge amount of potential. With a style that is very popular in the US and globally, I see no reason as to why they can’t be a huge name and pick up some incredible festival slots.

With a powerful energy and cutting lyrics, ”Berlin Wall” is a huge song by Sacred that is on a high level and deserves more love.

8udDha bl0od – !n57.:.j.:.M: Di0nY5U5: Cinematically Dystopian Scuzz-Laden Psych Rock

!n57.:.j.:.M: Di0nY5U5 is the recently released cinematically dystopian single by Brighton-based musician 8udDha bl0od. At least, that’s how it starts.

As the aural doom starts to clear, the ring of the distorted guitars gets sharper while the energy in the mix amplifies through the tribally percussive beats which start to manifest in the mix.

With !n57.:.j.:.M: Di0nY5U5, 8udDha bl0od proved that harsh discordant psychedelic scuzz has always had the capacity to be entrancing. Who knew?

No one does progressive tracks like 8udDha bl0od. No matter how many times we delve into his Machiavellian ingenuity, we’re always left psyched. Pun intended.
