movie monroe – when thE suN stoppeD: The Hip Hop Track to Wake Up America

https://soundcloud.com/moviemonroe/when-the-sun-stopped

Artist and producer movie monroe has dropped their colossal Alt Hip Hop track when thE suN stoppeD. With doomy, grinding tones behind the Las Vegas-based artist’s insightfully compelling bars, it’s an evocative ride.

If you’re as pissed about the billionaires getting richer while ordinary people are being pushed into poverty more forcibly than ever before, when thE suN stopped is the perfect frustration venting track.

If any Hip Hop track has the power to wake up America to the insidious injustice which seems to be more abhorrent by the day, it’s this bass-driven convictive hit.

movie monroe may have only made their debut in March 2020, but they’re already well on their way to becoming one of the hottest names in Hip Hop. Get him on your radar.

Alex PGSV skids in with Trap-fused ‘Wouldn’t Judge’

Alex PGSV is an indie emcee from Charlotte, North Carolina and he jumps in with the bouncy banger called ‘Wouldn’t Judge‘.

Taken off the debut album called ‘Purple Matter‘, ‘Wouldn’t Judge‘ is a trap Hip Hop journey with a late night beat that gets your attention as it skids right through the car park with a screech. This is all about not judging anyone and just going for it life. You don’t need to worry about anyone with so much going on in the world.

Alex PGSV has a confident flow to his raps and slams in with gritty energy and visual storytelling. This is a slow rider tune while cruising around with the homies. The haunting and ominous crush on the speakers fills the wheels with extra speed as you can transfixed on the brilliant beat.

Wouldn’t Judge‘ from Alex PGSV is an indie rap cruise trip all the way over the trap music vibe that spirals through the night.

Quali-T – Déjà Vu: A Rhythmically Fresh Summer Hip Hop Playlist Essential

Breaking Hip Hop artist Quali-T dropped the official music video to his single Déjà Vu in April 2020, if you missed out on the release, it’s our pleasure to introduce you to the smooth exotically-crafted mix.

There may have been plenty of fresh new Summer Hip Hop drops this year, but Quali-T made sure that his stood out from the rest by looking outside of monocultural Hip Hop for rhythmic inspiration. With jazzy and Eastern vibes weaving between the Trap beats, Déjà Vu is practically hypnotic instrumentally. When it comes to the Rap bars, Quali-T stamps them down with captivating authority.

Déjà Vu may be short and sweet, but by the time it fades out, you’ll have enjoyed 2:27 minutes of pure groove, attitude and urban aural escapism.

You can check out the official video to Quali-T’s single Déjà vu for yourselves by heading over to YouTube.

Canada’s Yvngcatch spins in with ”Hot Wheels”

Edmonton, Canada is the home of Yvngcatch and he sprints in with ”Hot Wheels”.

Replaying the motions of my life through music has always been this young artist’s means to escape. Music might be the only thing keeping his generation alive. This is a self-aware man that is aware of that who intends to do his part in sharing his whole heart with you. We’ve stayed numb for too long. This is the mantra of Yvngcatch who shows maturity beyond his years.

The beat sways in like an old pro with a lyrical delivery this is clear and the beat is like cruisin’ in the clouds. There is no spinning here which is a testament to not lose focus. This is a cool like summer breeze kind of flow that is all for us to see in 2020.

Canada’s Yvngcatch has raised the bar here with his brand new track called ”Hot Wheels”.

AJ Peoples has dropped their visceral attack on 2020 with their revolution-calling single “Do I…”

Up and coming Hip Hop artist AJ Peoples’ latest single “Do I…” stands as a testament to the fact that the best music is born out of dark times.

The track perfectly captures the anger, confusion and need for revolution that we’ve all felt over the last few months. But AJ Peoples does far more than just relay details from a shared experience. The passion, venom and conviction in Do I… have the power to change your outlook on lockdown and the BLM movement. The energising track gives you a fresh hit of frustration with how the world is currently unravelling before us, it also compels you to throw away any complacency and apathy and use your voice. We might not all have the lyrical prowess as AJ Peoples, but that’s no reason to stay silent.

In short, Do I… is an unforgettable perception-shifting track which I’d need a significant brain injury to forget.

You can check out the official video to AJ Peoples’ single which dropped on June 24th for yourselves via YouTube.
