Ride the Waves of La Palma’s Psych Surf Indie Single “One Foot In”

Tired of predictable music? I know I am, which is why it is infinitely refreshing to discover up and coming artists who have every inclination to create new melodic fusions with their unique brands of concordant alchemy.

“One Foot In” was the second single to be released from La Palma’s latest self-titled album which was released on April 1st, 2019. The track may be only just over a minute long, but even with the short track duration you get a potent hit of the levels of their progressive and experimental talent.

The prelude kicks off with a brief serving of twee indie before the track progresses into a soundscape of Lo-Fi Psychedelic Surf with elements of Dream Pop. The levels of texture found in One Foot In is just one of the arrestive elements which compels you to delve deeper in the tight arrangement of the single which may never be regarded as commercially ingestible, but that’s part of the tender magic of One Foot In.
