Sorry, couldn’t resist the cheese pun, but very so often, you stumble across a track that leaves you speechless, whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing is still to be established when it comes to Moshe Osiel’s debut track Chedda Cheeze. I thought I was in for a rendition about dairy products, nothing could quite prepare me for the playground street style Hip Hop Rap that followed. The lyrics aside, there’s no disputing that the beat behind Chedda Cheeze is dope, mixing Old School Hip Hop elements with a harsh overly dubbed snare that creates a resounding vibe. I can’t wait to hear what Moshe Osiel pulls out the bag next but I’m mainly hoping it’s not another ode to cheese whilst actually singing about women dancing otherwise I might start having conflicted feelings about cheese.
