Little Days – Mr. Sunshine: Sun-Soaked Funk-Riddled Power Pop

Up and coming artist Little Days will probably never truly know how refreshingly authentic their single “Mr. Sunshine” sounded compared to the painfully archetypal sun-soaked summer hits which flood onto the airwaves each and every year.

My faith in creative expression has been restored by the Southern Californian duo who have incorporated plenty of vintage influence into their Funk-riddled Power Pop complete with reverberantly powerful basslines and Mini Diaz’s insanely talented vocals. There aren’t many vocalists who could give Stevie Nicks a run for her money but listening to the ease in the stretches to the higher notes was an awe-inspiring aural experience.

Mr. Sunshine is just one of the singles found on the duo’s latest album “Pop & Tacos” which any fans of 80s Pop Rock are definitely going to want to tune into.
