“Save My Soul” was the debut track released by Nashville-based Indie Folk singer-songwriter Kelsey Harmon, the track may have been released at the start of her successful career, yet, it still remains the perfect track to introduce her authentic R&B Folk soundscapes.
Even though there’s seemingly something in the Nashville water which creates astounding artists, it’s incredibly refreshing to hear an artist creating an act of genre-defiance with those roots. In Save My Soul, you’ll hear plenty of funk and groove laid out by the bass around the rapturous ethereal effect of the organ as it creates the perfect platform for Kelsey Harmon’s energetically vibrant and soulful vocals. You’d have more luck finding a needle in a Nashville haystack than finding a soundscape which carries a striking reminiscence to Save My Soul
