Will Shadow has created his seven-track EP ‘Find The Heart’ a rather calming and mesmerizing collection of music, set to be released very soon.
However four of the tracks are on pre-order, it’s safe to say they’re rather unique, all having similar elements but all standing out in their own ways as Will creates this incredibly enticing anthology. Each piece has this powerful use of instrumentation that springs out from the background and pierces through the vocals. At first, you get this more Pop element, but then it sways towards the more synth/electro side as the tone becomes distorted and then you have the more mysteriously dark elements.
Will’s vocals tend to be deep, roar and have that rough edge to them when he sings adding in that techno effect to the repetitive lyrics that flow over the voice. With some, the beats are what makes the song a hit, but in other ways the eerie vocals are what makes it stand out. There’s such a diverse variety of sounds within each track and that’s what makes this collection have so much potential.
You’ll have to wait till the 29th May for the full album, but we’re sure it’ll be worth the wait.
