Zoe Clark – Last One Standing: country-tinged upbeat pop

Poppy, irreverent, and clever, Zoe Clark – from the Music City itself, Nashville Tennessee – has a history of well-thought out, relatable tunes; ‘Last One Standing’, her newest single, continues that tradition, a country-tinged upbeat pop song with hints of what might happen if Katy Perry somehow crossed with Taylor Swift and a dash of Avril Lavigne, self-deprecating but insightful lyrics over the catchiest of catchy tunes. It’s humorous, emotional, and charming all at once, instantly familiar and approachable, whilst having a style and sound that’s ultimately unique.

Clark’s debut EP, ‘Lovers Mark’, released in spring 2020, garnered top reviews as well as getting added to over 140 Spotify playlists; now ‘Last One Standing’ has gone Tik Tok viral prior to release, with 2.3 Million views and over 30,000 presaves. It’s not hard to see why – one listen isn’t enough, it’s memorable, catchy, and snappy as hell. ‘Last One Standing’ deserves to be played. Often. And loud.

Take a hit on pop singer-songwriter Veronika Utri’s ‘Cigarette’

https://soundcloud.com/veronika-utri/veronika-utri-cigarette

With a style heavily influenced by Tom Odell, Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne, Austria-born, London-based singer songwriter, Veronika Utri’s, sound offers tender intimacy, cinematic imagery and a magnetic spike of attitude.

The warm embracing tones in the standout single ‘Cigarette’ will undoubtedly be of appeal to anyone else dealing with the emotional fallout from unsated romantic cravings. The soul in the vocals is just as addictive as the substance which shares the name of the dreamy single.

With her accessible ‘girl next door’ vibe and evocatively brave lyricism, it’s hard not to anticipate big things in the immediate future for Veronika Utri.

Cigarette is available to stream via SoundCloud.

Verona Rose has released her all too relatable playful piano Indie Pop single “Overthinking”

Singer-songwriter Verona Rose has recently released her all too relatable Alt-Pop single “Overthinking”. If you’re a fan of playful piano Indie Pop hits, you’ll hit aural gold when you hit play.

Verona Rose’s narrative Pop-style will be a hit with any fans of Kate Nash or Lily Allen, but Overthinking is so much more than your usual quirky offering of eccentric Pop. With the production, Verona Rose achieved the massive euphoric sound which you’d expect to hear from a Taylor Swift track.

There is an incredible maturity and perceptible amount of stylish distinction in Overthinking. It’s even more impressive that it is coming from a 19-year-old Singer-Songwriter. It’s only a matter of time before her name graces the top of the Pop charts. Naturally, we can’t wait to hear what comes next.

Overthinking is now available to stream on all major platforms via this link.

Frantic Endeavor – 2+2: Girls To The Front

2+2 is the standout track from the debut EP by Frantic Endeavor in which the band incorporated a nostalgic sense of Pop Punk Clamour. As you’d expect the track is packed full of tight riffs and resonance along with an infinite offering of flawless drumrolls, to put it simply it’s a masterpiece of percussion fronted by female vocalist Lexie Lacock, who invokes a strong familiarity to singers such as Taylor Swift & Hayley Williams from Paramore. Yet as a whole, the sound that the talented collective of musicians has achieved is something like you’ve never heard before, each of the 6 musicians has a radically unique stance on their sound, the mix allows them to create the ultimate Post-Rock sound.

The Massachusetts based band Frantic Endeavor take their inspiration from acts such as Blind Revision, Among the Cypress & Summer Street to create their spell-binding, Progressive Rock sound.

Anyone Can Relate To Bethany Janette’s “I Miss You”

Bethany Janette is a singer and songwriter with a unique approach to her sound. Her recent single, “I Miss You” is a great example of her intimate lyrics and mellow sound. The song has a beautiful arrangement, where string sections create some amazing atmospheres, and the piano chords really drive the song’s structure.

On top of it all, the song strikes for Bethany’s remarkable ability to really stand out. Her phenomenal approach to songwriting truly strikes a chord with lyrics that are deep and very personal, yet very easy to relate to.

“I Miss You” is a beautiful song of longing where emotion flows like a river.

A&R Factory Present: Jade Naraine

Jade Naraine is 21 year old Pop artist from Toronto, ON. After her single; Cause I Can’t Take Missing You secured a spot in the 2015 top 100 on media base in the USA, she released a pop/country single called; You Decided to Stay. Country music stations began comparing her to old Taylor Swift. Jade is now back in the Pop genre to stay, with her latest radio single; “Princess.”

Princess is a song based on a true story, about a young girl who’s life spirals out of control to a point where she can hardly breathe. Within herself, she finds the strength to fight the pain, as she holds onto the same dream she had as a little girl, and tries one more time. The song was written to inspire and encourage anyone who is facing any obstacle, whether it be; bullying, physical, mental or emotional abuse, emotional trauma, mental illness/depression, PTSD, girls feeling taken advantage of, especially in today’s unhealthy world, where it’s heartbreaking to hear all of the stories… where the media teaches women and men, that women are to be put low, hurt, pain… anything and everything, to never give up, stay strong and get back up because things will get better once you become wiser and realize that all that matters in life are the good things.

Jade says “I think it’s an easy song for everyone to relate to in some way. I really hope it will reach a lot of people’s ears and remind them to stay strong and keep shining, and to protect and stay true to yourself. I also want to inspire kindness, warmth and compassion towards others. It’s really what I stand for. I wish to tell my fans, I’ve been there too and that things will get better, that I am sure of!”
