Birmingham’s Nathan Maurice sends tribute in tough year on ‘And All the Light That Had Ever Existed Ceased to Exist’

Nathan Maurice reflects such beauty in a tough year personally on the new single called ‘And All the Light That Had Ever Existed Ceased to Exist‘.

Nathan Maurice is a Composer and Producer from Birmingham in the UK. Fans of Nils Frahm, Phillip Glass, and Steve Reich may want to prick up their ears for the latest ambient offering of Neo-Classical electronica from up and coming composer who saunters into our world with this fine song.

This piano solo was composed after the passing of a family member and the subsequent emotions. It is for everyone that has lost someone during the pandemic. This is such a traumatic time for this artist and he does the lost family member proud here with a fine tribute.

There are no vocals on this one as we are put in a peaceful world here. I get lost in this song, the pureness is truly spectacular and we are in for a treat here despite the sad undertones.

Nathan Maurice shows us something different on ‘And All the Light That Had Ever Existed Ceased to Exist‘ and this is a rare song that encapsulates a true voyage of self discovery. This is best turned up loud with a glass of wine. Get that bubble bath going, get the candles and refresh the mind. Life is short so reach out to those close to you.

BagDadLean & Slutty Jordie rip the mic on the new Hip Hop single ‘Jackwoods’

BagDadLean & Slutty Jordie give us a life lesson about ladies and 420 here on their new Hip Hop track called ‘Jackwoods‘.

BagDadLean is a young Midwest artist that is very versatile as he can rap and switch it up to an R&B number all in the same song. This is a rare skill that is often not done well. He does however impress on this new track that is only his 2nd even release on Spotify. With lots of hunger and aspirations to be as massive as Drake, this is an ambitious emcee and singer with big dreams. I love this confidence, going for the top is the way forward.

This is all about being careful with the ladies. You need to find a loyal lady otherwise if you end up with the wrong one, she will suck your bank account dry and then vanish like the cleaning product. The beat is so laid back and stoner style, with the deep voices and you feel the smoke filled energy in the air.

BagDadLean & Slutty Jordie show us their skill set on the new ‘Jackwoods‘ single that is a winner in the Hip Hop playlists all over the world. If they can keep consistent and focus on getting their music out there, there is a chance they could make it massive.

Ian Chamberlain works wonders on ‘Too Many Wires’ (Remix)

Musician Ian Chamberlain is back with the very intriguing new instrumental single called ‘Too Many Wires‘ (Remix).

Ian is a composer and musician living and working in Adelaide, Australia. He is inspired by musical genres past and present, mechanical sounds, and the world of nature.

The energy is dark here, moody almost and you imagine a late night out. Suddenly the energy changes and we are catapulted into a bouncy, almost indie back-beat of a song with the occasional sprinkle of a different sound to keep your brain wondering. This is a truly remarkable song from Ian and he navigated all over with so much gusto and experience.

Ian Chamberlain is absolutely on smashing form here on ‘Too Many Wires‘. This remix is one of pure quality and we are treated to a quite marvelous effort from the Australian artist.

‘Bright Lights’ from Scotland’s Jordan Murray is a marvellous single

Jordan Murray’s ‘Bright Lights‘ is a road trip journey of a song, its various layers of goodness shine in your heart like a bright dream. This is a song that should be added to playlists all over the world.

Jordan’s musical journey started back in 2013 when he released his debut EP ‘I’m Free‘. He decided to venture forth from his hometown in Dumfries and Galloway and headed instead to Edinburgh as he wanted to be in a City where his music could be noticed more. The songs from that EP were written about the big move and all of the changes in his life at the time. Moving can be tough but this seems to have strengthened his resolve to make incredible music with a classy touch.

2020 has been a crazy year and plans have changed the whole world. This however might be a blessing as Jordan has used the time to settle in the studio and get writing and recording. After not recording for a few years, this was well-needed and we can see how this has galvanised this incredible singer-songwriter.

I love the way this song stands out really quickly with the peaceful piano and then the strong vocals that are a sumptuous listen and gives the tired heart a remarkable boost. This is a singer-songwriter who lets us into his world, he is very thoughtful here and I can’t stop listening to this remarkable track. He is destined for big things and after topping the iTunes charts, and entering the Scottish official charts with a organic grown fan-base, we feel Jordan Murray’s break will just be around the corner.

The Browncoats rock in with the fun single ‘Katyusha’

The Browncoats are back with ‘Katyusha‘ and this is taken off their brand new EP called ‘Drunk‘.

Though the band have just released a new EP last fall, The Browncoats haven’t done any real touring since 2010. Most of their performance and hard copy CD sales were from the Comic Book Convention world during that time anyway.

Since then, their new song ‘Katyusha‘ (rendition of an old Russian folk song which was not particularly popular in that convention/nerd-rock world) has taken on a life of its own online with over 500,000 streams on Spotify. With such a fantastic reaction to this huge success, they feel like this is their time to become more well-known.

The bands goal for 2021 is to capitalize on that success and gain momentum enough to tour at regular music venues instead of Conventions. Then after that, the aim is to catch the ear of a decent record company that would be willing to help the band capitalize on this momentum.

Katyusha‘ is a fun song that is designed for those late nights the underrated The Browncoats. This can be turned up real loud and enjoyed with all the friends and new friends. The energy is alive and lots of fun is to be had here.

Alvin Willis swoons on love-torn ‘Do Over’ featuring Larry Gordon

Vocalist Alvin Willis swoons on love-torn ‘Do Over’, his latest new single.

After writing 200 songs from 7th to 11th grade, this creative wordsmith decided on 12 of the best songs in his eyes. After deciding to save up and record these songs after High School, he had to hide some of his songs from his Mom. She only wanted her song singing gospel and Alvin was more in the R&B genre.

After working with about 5 bands in his hometown of Knoxville, Alvin decided to go solo and this has proved to work well. The young artist is so creative and wanted to fully express himself and not be restricted.

Do Over’ from Alvin Willis is a song about wishing that you could do over the relationship. This is what you want but you know what you need to do. Move on and heal up. This is all we can do in life sometimes,
