Jamal Plummer has revived the smooth 90s RnB style with “Higher”

Jamal Plummer has revived the smooth 90s RnB-style with their standout single “Higher”. If your playlists are lacking in inspirational urban aural gems, there’s plenty of resolving optimistic soul found in the radio-ready release.

The amorously accordant single captures that all too rare feeling of absolute contentment. Not just contentment within a romantic relationship but harnessing that passion and pouring it into every area of your life. If Higher doesn’t compel you to approach life with a rejuvenated sense of purpose and ambition, I don’t know what will.

Cjvd has dropped their Funk-deep serving of RnB Soul “Nobody Else”

Cjvd has gone right back to the roots of RnB with the potent serving of soul which was projected into his latest single Nobody Else. But with the snappy solid beats in the accordantly light arrangement, he created a hit which deserves a spot on 21st-century airwaves.

The hook-filled immersive track sits at the perfect tempo to offer catharsis whilst simultaneously allowing you to lose yourself in the colourfully romantic mix.

Cjvd isn’t just on-trend with Nobody Else. He’s started his own with his accessibly sentimental Funk-deep style. And we’re definitely here for it.

jackson r.a. – Little Love: Intricately Layered Experimental RnB

Columbus up and coming RnB artist jackson r.a. has recently dropped their standout single “Little Love”. Any fans of modernistic RnB Pop are going to want to hear it.

Little Love is a soulful feat of electronically mastered experimentalism which isn’t afraid to take RnB down bold new aural avenues. The raw undiluted emotion is fed into an intricately layered soundscape. But thanks to the instrumental hooks and the artist’s magnetic vibe, it’s all too easy to get hooked into the tonally diverse hit which demands repeat attention.

jackson r.a. may be fresh from their inception, but their sound is equally as fresh. Get them on your radar.

Nicole Leaskk is due to release her fiercely empowering RnB Pop hit “Tough Love”

Nicole Leaskk

In her upcoming single “Tough LoveNicole Leaskk proves that soul and attitude can sit hand in hand. The lyrics may contain fractures of melancholy, yet her empowering air takes this RnB Soul Pop track to the next level.

Rather than offering the usual lovelorn wistfulness, Nicole Leaskk created a track which inspires you to push away any pensive thoughts which tempt you to believe that you should beat yourself up following a hard break up.

If candidly fierce and inspiring tracks such as Tough Love were more prevalent on the airwaves, I have no doubt that plenty of more people would exude the same self-respect which Nicole Leaskk did while writing Tough Love.

With her refreshing approach to lyricism, distinctively soul-spilling vocals and the radio-ready production on the Jazz-infused RnB Pop instrumentals, Tough Love isn’t a release which you’ll want to miss out on.

You’ll have to wait a little longer before you can check out Tough Love for yourselves. In the meantime, you can check out Nicole Leaskk’s earlier releases on SoundCloud and follow her via Facebook to keep up to date with future releases.

Bisola has released her latest soulfully magnetic Funk-filled Urban ballad “Grace upon Grace”

With the unique production style, Bisola’s latest single “Grace upon Grace” almost acts as a soulful aural vacuum which pulls you in straight from the prelude.

The up and coming artist freshened up 90s Pop with a nuanced infusion of Hip Hop and RnB, but Grace upon Grace is a ballad through and through. With the effervescent orchestral swells, the soundscape boasts an ethereal feel, as well as a sure enough serving of soul and funky contemporary grooves. As long as your soul is still working, the emotion contained in Grace upon Grace won’t fail to resonate.

Julian King – Neva Needed: Soul-Deep RnB

Up and coming R&B Pop artist Julian King dropped their latest mix “Neva Needed” on December 7th. With their contemporary approach to R&B which resonates through the nuanced vibrant beats, you don’t even need to get to the chorus before deciding that Neva Needed is a hit.

Julian King’s R&B Pop-style vocals find the perfect balance in the mix. The momentum may ebb and flow, yet the hooks will make sure that your attention is never in danger of faltering. If Julian’s king’s vocals are good enough to get him on the Voice, they’re definitely good enough of a reason to put him on your radar.
