Br3nz – Scars: Emotively Ironclad R&B Soul Pop

“Scars” is the latest single from up and coming R&B Pop artist Br3nz who has orchestrated a touching soulful ballad which rings with melancholy, but still offers plenty of comforting catharsis.

The simplicity of the soundscape amplifies the raw energy which has been projected into Scars which alludes to the bitter-sweet emotion of dealing with the ghosts of your past while trying to outgrow them. The lyrics were slightly illegible in the verses which hindered the resonance of Scars, yet, the instrumental arrangement made sure that you were never without emotively iron wrought tonality. The addition of orchestral layers within the contemporary R&B Pop mix which also incorporates Indie guitars was an act of ingenuity, as I’m sure you will come to appreciate for yourselves once you listen to the intricate yet momentous build ups in Scars

Noble Gray – Throwback: R&B Soul Pop with Plenty of Emphasis on the Soul

Do you know what I love about 2019? The amount of new distinctive voices in the sea of heteronormativity. German/English artist Noble Gray is due to release their upcoming R&B Soul Pop album “Throwback”, and there’s definitely an emphasis on the soul here.

Each track on Throwback acts a narrative of the duo’s own experience, their own passions, and it clear that they made no bones about allowing the energy which inspired the tracks to resonate through absolute distinction. Naturally, each of the 9 original singles and the 2 remixes carries a transfixing potency. As you appreciate the intricacies of the soundscape, you’re simultaneously enamoured by the raw depths of lyricism. Noble Gray’s command of vocal harmony also plays a heavy hand in the listenability of their tracks – not to the mention it’s impossible not to immediately warm to the artist.

Noble Gay’s album Throwback be available from May 15th, 2019 which you’ll be able to check out via Spotify, you can also check out the artist’s earlier releases, and head on over to Facebook to keep up to date with all the latest news.
