Grimreepa Wields His Bars Like Blades in ‘THE EVILS’

Grimreepa raps with the force of someone who has fought too many battles to waste a single breath. ‘THE EVILS’ is a tirade against the deception and injustice that keeps stacking up, delivered with the conviction of an artist who has lived through the worst and come out swinging. His bars cut through the noise, fuelled by a decade of sharpening his craft and a refusal to let anything dilute his message.

Boger Beats’ production is built to hit hard. The stabbing piano keys keep the intensity honed to a razor’s edge, while the oscillating electronic motifs pull the track into the future without losing its 00s hip-hop backbone. The weight of the instrumental leaves room for Grimreepa’s flow to land with impact, sitting somewhere between Jay-Z’s precision and Xzibit’s raw energy, but charging ahead with his own firepower.

With insidious forces reaching new heights, ‘THE EVILS’ arrives as a necessary release for anyone who feels the weight of it all. It’s a rallying point for those who see through the smokescreens. If hip-hop is a battleground, Grimreepa is making sure his voice carries.

‘THE EVILS’ is available to stream on Apple Music and Spotify now.

Tony Newbury came in red hot in his latest rap track, FEEL THE HEAT

https://spotify.link/XH8n0M5G1Db

For his latest genre-evading urban earworm, FEEL THE HEAT, the virally successful artist Tony Newbury fused the bass of Boom Bap beats with rap bars which run with strikingly sharp reminiscences of Eminem and lush layers of trappy RnB.

To accentuate the sticky-sweet melodic appeal to the nth degree, when Newbury wasn’t blazing through his high-fire rap bars, he was reeling you further into the polished and sun-soaked production with clever pop hooks.

It comes as no surprise that the New Jersey recording artist has made a name for himself in the local scene and beyond since making his debut. In addition to the clear crossover appeal in his sonic aesthetics, which vary from release to release, Newbury remains committed to helping his ever-growing army of fans understand the chaos of the ride we’re all on. Everything is relative, but as his lyrics prove, plenty is universal, including the ability to appreciate the artistry in his uninhibited expression.

FEEL THE HEAT was officially released on September 25; start your obsession with the seminal track by heading over to Spotify.

Enrichment put his name on the New Jersey hip-hop map with Play to Win ft Termanology & Chris Rivers

Different by Enrichment

For his latest single, Play to Win, the New Jersey flow king and producer, Enrichment, collaborated with the two trailblazers, Termanology and Chris Rivers, to create the grittiest hip-hop drop of the summer.

Enrichment’s killer cadence flows over the Eastern rhythms in the production that punches with East Coast flavour. Any fans of Blackalicious’ innovative take on contemporary hip hop will want to make a playlist staple of the lyrically sharp hit. The complex and multisyllabic rhymes will leave you on the rap hooks which sink their teeth so that the introspection in this no-mercy exposition of what it takes to strive for greatness is mainlined into your veins.

When Enrichment isn’t crafting his own tracks, he’s in the studio working with Kuniva (D12), Omar Ray, and Nino Man. Competition may be tough in the dog eat dog industry in 2023, but clearly, he’s got the strongest bite.

Play to Win was officially released on June 9th; stream it on Bandcamp.

Nvmitsmarcel rises above the gloom with brilliant ‘Softlock’

Nvmitsmarcel is a 19 year old emcee from New Jersey who blazes in with his hot new street banger called ‘Softlock‘.

Nvmitsmarcel’s goal in music is to encapsulate that real New Jersey sound while being the most modest kid out here in the wild. He wants people to listen to his music and inspire through his message of life. A fine example to set in a world far too often overridden with fake celebs and divisive music.

Taken off full album ‘Far Yet Close‘, this is such fresh fly music that is like finding money in your cupboard behind some clothes. Winning feeling right? This is how I feel while listening to this fire new song from the young artist.

Softlock‘ is the brand new track from Nvmitsmarcel and this is a party all night bounce that hits the heights of future stardom. The music is too good. One of the highlights so far of a gloomy 2020.
