If You Missing Me: Ash Adams wants her to say yes on the sensual ‘Tell Me’

Taken off his just-dropped ‘Me, But Different’ EP, Ash Adams is happily back with an absorbing new single all about finding out if she really has true feeling for him or not on ‘Tell Me‘.

Ash Adams is an rising indie-pop artist from Oxford in England. He has a rather compellingly unique style that is freshly stimulating and is totally enrapturing on our perked up ears, that are looking for spiritual guidance during these lost times.

As he started recording this wonderful piece of work from his cozy hotel room in sunny Australia in late 2019 – this exciting project has taken on a life of its own – as you feel this quality time has really morphed the riveting release into something special.

This is a catchy track with steamy hot production, that has smoothly tipped vocals that breeze glowingly into your mind so willingly. His voice is full of life and has you on the edge of your seat, as you wonder where this love story shall go.

Tell Me’ from the well-respected Oxford, UK-based indie-pop musician Ash Adams, is the story of hoping that they are keen to be in your life as you feel so much love for them. You have been hurt before and don’t want that heartbreak to knock down your good vibes again, that have been putting you in a good space lately. The ball is in her court now, as you get the tennis rackets ready to play, if she indeed feels the same way as you do.

‘Subliminal Messages’ finds GiftedCuddo and Mari in marvelously mysterious form

Ohio must be one of the most underrated music hubs in the world. Cleveland emcee GiftedCuddo brings the incredible talent of Mari to join him on ‘Subliminal Messages‘ and this is the voice for the misunderstood. A track that sways all the way, you feel inspired and can’t help but like the lyrical skill level that reaches the temperature needed to catch a tan.

Subliminal Messages are any sensory stimuli below an individual’s threshold for conscious perception.

With that in mind, we now have a feel for what this brand new and rather mysteriously brilliant Hip Hop track is all about. With an undertone that needs lots of unwrapping like a much-anticipated Christmas present, this is a fine beat that draws you in. The vocals are so sultry and the bars are wrapped together like an old pro.

My entire purpose for making music is to inspire people to be the absolute best they can be in life, to live life to the fullest, be positive, love yourself, and enjoy every moment of this experience.”- GiftedCuddo

Taken off the new EP called ‘Xild‘, this is a track that has lots of creativity and a beat that puts a smile on your dial. This is that sunglasses type of music to turn up while you cruising around with your friends. It is so seducing and you can help but sway along to this smooth lyrics, that are shaved so close you might need a new barber.

GiftedCuddo has such a gift with words and his excellent track ‘Subliminal Messages‘ is such a fantastic Hip Hop effort and Mari only adds to the brilliance here. With so many wannabe rappers carrying on about topics that add zero value to the world, this is a track about the way you portray yourself and how we can get our message across with some practice and confidence. A life lesson in a song is always a pleasant surprise and this hits the stomach just right.

Aaron Everything sings with such passion on the thoughtful ‘Die In L.A’

The acoustic version of ‘Die In L.A‘ is such a top track and this is thanks to the skills of Aaron Everything.

The Hollows acoustic EP is comprised of 3 of Aaron’s older tracks which he and his engineer Julian brought new life to along with the help from other musicians around the internet. Aaron wanted to do an acoustic EP since he began in music after taking a lot of influence from BLACKBEAR specifically his ‘DEAD‘ album.

Die in L.A’ to Aaron is an emotive piece about not wishing to be stuck in a small town and small town mindset for the rest of his life. Feeling as if you’re just going through the motions of life with no real promise but having big city dreams is built deep into Irish culture with the history of mass emigration in this country. But seeing how this virus has been handled and the social unrest in other countries like America, Aaron is torn in where to go in his life to best benefit his music and mental well-being. This is a true story and one that millions of us think about. Stay in the same town or get out and risk not being happy either.

Aaron Everything is a top performer and ‘Die In L.A‘ is a thoughtful song that ticks all the boxes.

NYC artist Micky impresses on new trap track ‘Northstar’

US emcee Micky is back with the trap filled new single for ‘Northstar‘.

Michael Persall, better known by his artist name Micky is a regular name in the vibrant New York City’s live music scene. His latest single and video Northstar’ impresses highly by taking us on a unique journey that reminds us all of the value of hope, resilience and hard work. This is such an inspirational tale and I love the beat here.

When asked to describe the inspiration behind the track, Michael tells us that;

“Northstar is about my journey these past few years living as an artist and entrepreneur in music tech. The line in the song ‘Northstar never lost sight through the movement’ speaks to the challenges building a company and career as an artist, and developing the patience to learn from failure and stay focused on moving forward despite the setbacks.”

The visuals to ‘Northstar’, cleverly echo Micky’s sentiments of building oneself from the ground up with his choice of a VHS-Esque, home-video style treatment that gives off an organic, rough and ready feel. The video is filled with seemingly self-shot footage of the artist followed by flashing, glitch-like lyric overlay, which further adds to the grittiness of the self-made entrepreneur’s song and its meaning. This type of style is taking off as artists have learnt new skills in lockdown while gigs were unavailable due to the tragic pandemic.

Northstar’ is the cool, synthy, trap-pop number that’ll act as the lead single for Micky’s upcoming six-track mixtape of the same title.  This will also mark the launch of Micky’s, Northstar Records, an independent label and management company that works with cause-driven talent. With lots on the go, you can see this artist going all the way in the game. You have to have grit.

This is a fantastic song with lots of new school energy and Micky is a new name to watch.
