Mama Yaya

Pop, Blues, and Neo-Soul seamlessly converge in Mama Yaya’s sultrily sublime latest single “Devil”

If there’s any Alt Pop artist we’re stoked to hear more from this year, it’s the sultrily sublime newcomer Mama Yaya.

Her fans were treated to yet another infectiously Funk-riddled hit with the release of her single “Devil” which dropped on May 29th. In Devil, grooving Neo-Soul meets roots-deep Blues Rock and Pop. Despite the levels of distinction which are impossible to miss, Devil is an incredibly accessible radio-ready hit which stays with you long after the track has faded to a close.

The driving snappy beats paired with bendy basslines and bluesy guitar licks form the perfect platform for the bewitching vocal style which consistently evolves through the dynamic earworm.
