I Just Don’t Think He Gets It: Irish band Scustin leads us into their local on funny rant-filled ‘The Killer’

With a deeply engaging look inside to a world where you meet so many distinct kinds of folk, Scustin guides us through their local pub where there is a laugh waiting if you look carefully enough on ‘The Killer‘.

Scustin is a fairly new Irish indie soul band who are true storytellers at heart and bring us some real gems to ponder about the people who they meet each night over a pint or three.

The lads reminisce about misadventures with pub talkers, dodgy drug dealers and other misfits that frequent through the many nooks and crannies of Irish life, all the while trying to figure out where they themselves fit in a social climate that is both ambiguous and unnerving. Using dark humour, a bit of slagging and seriously impressive musical chops our heroes may find that their reality is not all it’s perceived to be.” ~ Scustin

On an intriguing vocally-charged ambience that certainly lifts your head away from any previous distractions, Scustin might be one of the most thrilling newcomers to come out of Ireland for ages. Their music is highly original and they heighten your attention with a real look into their lives, which leaves you feeling that this is a real-world and not a fake tale made up in two minutes.

The Killer‘ from the Wicklow, Ireland-based indie soul act Scustin, is a really splendid single that is filled with a groovy style and an authentic sense of humour that is lacking in this world. They love their local pub and introduce us to the characters Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels style, on a simply catchy track that will have you smiling and reminiscing about all the strange characters you have been acquainted with before.
