TreWay and The Now Generation has made their sultrily playful Alt Jazz Funk debut with “Roll Play”

TreWay and The Now Generation have made their debut with the eccentric soul-southing single “Roll Play”. Good vibes don’t come much more infectious than the ones than you’ll find in this insanely progressive soundscape.

Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop and Funk all converge in the instantly enamouring track which definitely wasn’t orchestrated to beg for mainstream appeal. Instead, you’ll get to ingest the high-energy creativity of TreWay and The Now Generation.

Roll Play may be like nothing you’ve ever heard before and time signatures may have been thrown out of the window, but thanks to the soul which was thrown into the sultry playful mix, it’s all too easy to ease into the grooves.

With vocal reminiscences with everyone from Saul Williams to Pharrell to Kanye, it’s safe to say that TreWay has one of the most versatile vocal dynamics we’ve heard in a while. We can’t wait to hear what comes next.

Mike Lenson Band – Gimmie Something Real: A Soulful Attack on Fake News in a Post-Truth World

https://mikelensonband.bandcamp.com/track/gimme-something-real

Mike Lenson Band orchestrated a fierce attack on fake news with their vibrantly absorbing latest single “Gimmie Something Real”.

The powerhouse UK-based quartet allowed the track to offer plenty of funk and groove through their unique genre-crumbling which puts Soul, Jazz and Blues in the same high-octane melting pot.

With organ wails and trombone solos adding plenty of fire to the eclectic instrumental arrangement, the progressions of Gimmie Something Real will leave you even more immersed with every unpredictable turn.

It may not be your usual serving of Soul, but the frustration directed towards the state of our post-truth world is sure to offer plenty of catharsis for anyone who feels the same.

You can stream and download Gimmie Something Real for yourselves via Bandcamp.

https://soundcloud.com/user-182516086/lesson-in-love

Lesson in Love” is the latest smooth Bluesy Pop single by up and coming Wirral-based artist Gina who is quickly becoming renowned for her rich and resounding tone.

From the first note in Lesson in Love, you’ll be captivated by the sumptuous pace, Gina’s magnetically soothing vocals and the full-bodied textures found in the warmly Jazz-infused soundscape.

Gina may be fresh from her inception, but her uniquely artful style which borrows influences from Adult Contemporary and a myriad of other sub-genres is already beyond radio-ready. It’s cinematic.

From what we’ve heard in Lesson in Love and the artist’s former releases, it’s only a matter of time before you see Gina’s name gracing the charts.

Tara Gozay – How You Be You: Unapologetically Expressive Experimental Jazz Pop

How You Be You” is the unapologetically expressive standout single from Jazz artist Tara Gozay. Her artfully bold approach to sound is sure to resonate with any fans of powerful female voices.

The track may start off as a strong offering of soulful Jazz Pop. Yet, the progressive single has an unexpected shift in tone as distorted guitars are added to the Neo-Soul-style soundscape.

The up and coming artist’s sound may not be everyone’s cup of tea. But any true aficionado of archaically-inclined Jazz Pop will definitely want Tara Gozay on their radar. There’s plenty in the pipeline for 2020. And if you follow Tara Gozay on Facebook, you’ll be able to catch one of her lockdown live shows.

Psychedelicacy – Fairground: A Uniquely Indulgent Jazz Infusion Playlist Essential

It’s no great surprise that Glaswegian Neo-Soul artist Psychedelicacy’s recently released single “Fairground” hasn’t failed to garner plenty of attention.

The uniquely indulgent Jazz Infusion track offers a beguiling mix of Cabaret, Pop, RnB, Jazz and Soul which is as cathartic as it is endearing. And it’s not every day we can say that about a track. But perceptibly, Psychedelicacy’s prodigally improvisational style permits their soundscapes to ooze distinction.

The smooth Jazz instrumentals create the perfect platform for Anna Wood’s expressively accordant vocals which add plenty of personality to the track around the guitar and sax solos.

Fairground may not be everyone’s cup of tea. In fact, it would be fairly insulting to the ingenuity of the track to insinuate that it could ever be comparable to something so commonplace.

Jake Bass – Oh Wow: Accessibly Ambient Contemporary Jazz

By rhythmically infusing elements of Ambient instrumental EDM Hip Hop with smooth Blues Rock soaring guitar licks, Oh Wow unfolds offering hypnotically immersive aural alchemy with every progression.

The effortless, yet masterful guitar notes seamlessly find accordance with the electronic instrumentals which provide a solid structure to the track while the warm guitar notes gently rise above the rest of the mix.
