Cheery takes us to school with her vulnerable ‘bummer pop’ debut single, ‘Concept of Love’

Any fans of Anna Calvi, Nadine Shah and St Vincent will want to delve into the evocatively avant-garde debut single, Concept of Love, from ‘bummer pop’ artist, Cheery.

The Kansas-based artist mixed spiritual earthy tones with chilling noir pop electronica for her imploringly dynamic vocal timbre to fall into. You’d seriously be hard-pressed to find more gravitas in another 2021 indie debut. The vulnerability in the vocals and the alchemy in the instrumentals prove to be a potent cocktail that resulted in mainstream potential.

Concept of Love is now available to stream on Spotify.

Halle Abadi is set to release her ensnaring Persian pop single, ‘Comfortable’.

Halle Abade

Halle Abadi is set to release her most ensnaring single to date with, ‘Comfortable’, the exotic, sensual and vibrantly authentic track weaves Abadi’s Persian/Afghan culture with dark moody pop sensibilities to create an empowering earworm that we are sure you’ve never heard the like of before.

Abadi wrote Comfortable as a siren call to relationship complacency and mundanity that can ensue when someone gets too comfortable without the invitation to do so; staying true to her lyrically emboldening style.

Halle Abadi’s vocals are just as distinctive as the RnB pop instrumentals that sporadically go baroque with orchestral strings, adding another mesmerising layer to this already intricately complex track that will remind you of the time when Britney and Destiny’s Child reigned to supreme.

The fiery pop track is due for release on June 4th; you can pre-save the single via Halle Abadi’s official website.

Eamonn Conor – Dig Deeper: Feverously High-Octane RnB Pop

https://soundcloud.com/user-669439116/dig-deeper-master-pop

If you can’t take a trip to the ocean, up and coming Pop artist Eamonn Conor’s latest single “Dig Deeper” is the next best thing. The resolvingly oceanic Pop hit kicks off with a tenderly reassuring intro before the aural waves break and suddenly, you’re immersed in the high-octane feverously passionate production.

The Australian artist could easily fill a stadium with their all-consuming sound which is bound to be a hit with any fans of artists such as Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber. But unlike many Pop artists, Eamonn found enough space in the soundscape to stamp down his signature sound. If artists climbed the Pop charts on the merit of their vocals alone, you’d find Eamonn’s name right at the top. The unfaltering nature of their flawlessly extended harmonic howls is enough to make your soul quiver.
