Her Burden

Leicester’s Her Burden refuses to follow the fake sheep who have faulty morals on ‘Better Than Me’

After roaring into our lives with their terrific single from late 2021 with ‘Way Too Good for Me‘, Her Burden pumps up the voltage to giddy heights of brilliance with a feast of meaty drum-filled energy to savour on ‘Better Than Me‘.

Her Burden is a powerfully constructed Leicester, UK-based indie alt-rock/punk band who is known for their thunderously exciting live performances at local festivals.

Breaking the door down and dragging out those fake leaders who live two lives and prey on the less fortunate, Her Burden rips the masks off and leads us to happier lands. They are in guitar-smashing form here and take us on a thrilling ride that will surely exhilarate our taste buds and give us all something to rejoice in when we needed it most.

Better Than Me‘ from Leicester, UK-based indie alt-rock/punk band Her Burden is a marvellous single from a well-respected outfit who is only rising upwards. Blessing the airwaves with a rocket-fueled song that is all about showing they refuse to lower their morals to be cool or accepted, this is a purposeful message for many to learn from.

With a sledgehammer sound and breathtaking vocals, which seem to shake your core awake, a track with substance is on offer here for those who want to know that they have the right mindset too.

Her Burden melded Britpop with pop-punk in their melodiously pensive latest release, Figure It Out

With their first release of 2022, the UK alt-indie rock outfit, Her Burden sent us swaggering right back to the bliss of the 90s Britpop era. Figure it Out veers from the tried, tested and endlessly repeated Britpop sound by binging a punch of raw pop-punk to the type of melody that would make any self-respecting Oasis fan swoon.

Her Burden brought just as much to the table lyrically with their narrative of the perpetual optimist that keeps going round in failed circles as they did sonically with their intimate emotional firestorm that proves they have a heady stock of nuance in their arsenal. After the various pandemics impeded their bid for pop rock domination, something tells us there’s no stopping Her Burden now.

Figure It Out is officially released on March 25th; you can check it out via Spotify.

UK Pop Punk Bites Back in Her Burden’s latest single, Way Too Good for Me

Her Burden

Way Too Good for Me is the latest punchy, alt-rock track from the prodigal pop-punk artist, Her Burden. Any fans of On the Rope by Rocket from the Crypt will undoubtedly find themselves equally as energised by the tumultuously choppy rhythms and snarled lyricism.

With the vocals bordering on pop-punk theatrics and the sweet humility in the lyrics, it is impossible not to get wrapped up in this high-octane hit which will officially release on December 3rd. Way Too Good for Me is one of the rare tracks that is actually worthy of being called an earworm. By default, Her Burden is easily one of the best pop-punk powerhouses the UK has heard in the last decade. Get them on your radar.

The single will be available to stream via SoundCloud. For more info on the unreckonable alt-rock rogues, head over to their official website.
