There’s charisma, then there’s the unique brand of alchemy which Tashi poured into her latest single “Fever”. Considering that Fever was a track born from reflection of emotional manipulation, it is safe to say I wasn’t quite expecting such a Funk-soaked, good-vibe hit.
Tashi possesses a rare quality which makes her soundscapes instantly accessible, even with an Indie sound which doesn’t share reminiscences with many others you’re hooked in the infectious groove right from the first verse. Tashi’s cocktail of Pop Reggae and Rock creates the perfect balance of soul and euphoria; the instrumentals are kept bright, simple, and stickily melodic, making the hooks even sharper and the resonance even more irresistible.
You’ll have to wait a little longer until you can check out Fever for yourselves, but in the meantime head over to SoundCloud and discover some of Tashi’s sensational earlier releases.

Summer may be all but over, but Rae & T-Man have just dropped their latest single to give us one last blast of sun-soaked euphoric Pop. The up and coming artist created the perfect 3-minute Pop hit with plenty of hooks to throw you into the hype of the infectiously catchy chorus. The EDM melodies are simplistic, yet the sound flows with the pull of the wavy synths creating a track which you’re compelled to listen to time and time again until you can nail the chorus yourself. Combined with a professional sound quality and a breathy quintessence behind Rae’s vocals, I can’t see how the future won’t be a success for the stylised future Pop Icon.
If you’re a fan of Tame Impala, Avicii and Kendrick Lamar, you’re going to love the fresh soundscape on offer from Rae with her single which is well on the way to making her a virally notorious Pop act.
