If you’re looking for a melodic offering of Downtempo Disco Groove, look no further than Quite Vice’s latest single “Take My Hand”. The cathartically sun-kissed single offers plenty of Funk and Groove whilst remaining ambient and infinitely immersive.
The production on Take My Hand was slightly under polished, and while Lo-Fi tracks can often resonate as much more intimate and immediate, it was easy to feel that Take My Hand was slightly hindered by the rough edges on the sunny, warm and vibrant Jazz-infused beats.
The bridge leading up to the outro also felt slightly overstretched, yet, that’s not to say there aren’t plenty of other elements which allowed Take My Hand to stand as a testament to Quite Vice’s talent when it comes to expressive Nu-Disco and French House inspired soundscapes.
