JBRRMUSIC produced the visceral ‘Feeling of XTC’ in his latest EDM hit

JBRRMUSIC refused to follow in anyone’s footsteps with his latest hit EDM single, Feeling of XTC, which brings everything that it says on the titular tin.

The EDM track which unravels as equal parts progressive house pop and euphoric techno follows a series of critically acclaimed and relentlessly playlisted and airplayed hits from the rising UK EDM producer who always thinks forward and takes his fans into the future of electronica with his innovative approach to alchemising aural ecstasy.

Feeling of XTC broke the EDM mould with its short and exhilaratingly sweet 2-minute duration. The succinct whirlwind of massive beats, build-ups so intense you may forget to breathe, and gravity-defying crescendos created a kinetically electrifying platform for the crystalline-with-soul female pop vocals to allude to the immense power of falling in love.

If anything can come close to the feeling of surrendering to someone completely and the subsequent addiction to the way that person makes you feel, it’s this monolith of an earworm which carries endless cross-over appeal. The sporadic tumultuous touches to the production became an efficacious sonic visualisation of love’s capacity to shake you to your core, leave you head over heels, and out of touch with gravity.

Feeling of XTC was officially released on February 23; stream the single on Spotify.

GrainyPastel – Ovrdone: Kaleidoscopically Euphoric EDM

The Oklahoma-hailing independent music producer, GrainyPastel, siphoned euphoria through his latest entrancing EDM earworm, Ovrdone. The jazzed-up hip-house instrumental hit flexes its polyphonic charm as the snares meet the synths to spill a kaleidoscope of polished colour that will brighten any mood in just one hit.

His ambition and drive to spread the love through his high vibe productions sonically shines through in the transcendently electric feat of electronica, which refuses to colour inside the lines of an electronic sub-genre. You’d be incredibly hard-pressed to find another electronica producer with a more vibrant sonic signature. When he’s not crafting floor-fillers and dopamine-spillers, he is often found dabbling in other genres, from cinematic scores to jazz ensembles to pop hits.

Ovrdone was officially released on December 2nd; it is now available to stream on YouTube.

Goshok captured the euphoria in affectionate obsession in his EDM hit, On My Mind

Capturing the euphoria in the moment where affection turns to obsession, the independent Czech songwriter, DJ and producer Goshok let the evocative floodgates open in his entrancing EDM mix, On My Mind.

Ode To The 80’s: EDM producer NiraN drops the epic bass groove on ‘A Night In Vice’

Featuring a wonderfully old school big drum percussion and a shake-your-body soundscape to you get into the mood, NiraN takes us back to a much simpler time on ‘A Night In Vice‘.

NiraN is the solo project of worldly experienced EDM producer/musician Farhan Saleem. He makes that supremely taste-filled ambient, deep house and chill type of music, that has you reaching for those shades and cold beverage to enjoy his busty beats.

Having lived in different parts of the globe, I have always listened to, been inspired by / and tried to incorporate music and inspiration from all over the world in my music”. – NiraN

The thumping beat transforms your mind and takes you to a new place that you perhaps wanted to go, but didn’t quite get to. The consistent bass and glassy-feel has you feeling re-energized and full of life again. The song slows down beautifully in the middle – as the warping energy sinks your doubts away into the quick-sand below, and takes you to a happy planet far away from the current madness.

Tropic house fuses with blues in Lekna’s latest single, ‘Want It’, featuring Liel Bar-Z.

London-based EDM producer and guitarist, Lekna’s latest single, ‘Want It’, may unravel as a definitive tropical house mix, but pay close attention to the shimmering melodies, and you will find that the notes pull themselves up from the roots of blues.

Liel Bar-Z’s mesmerising vocals don’t dominate the mix, instead, the harmonic effect-laden vocal notes seem to seamlessly breathe around the ardent and arrestive beats that will make sure that your rhythmic pulses are interconnected with the bassline far before the drops start to open up aural rabbit holes beneath you.

With plenty more mixes locked and loaded, and plans to release an EP in 2022, Lekna deserves a spot on your radar.

Want It will be available to stream from June 4th. You’ll be able to check it out for yourselves by heading over to Soundcloud.

Bad Wolf peeks behind closed doors in his latest nu-disco single, ‘Curfew at the Disco’

While plenty of us sulked about the inaccessibility of dancefloors and lack of like-minded community, Philippines-based artist and producer Bad Wolf imagined what went on behind closed doors while creating his latest melodically tropic single, Curfew at the Disco.

After the release of his debut single, If I Can Make You Dance, in January 2021, he was scouted by MojoHeadz Records and inspired to release at least ten new singles in 2021. Based on Curfew at the Disco, we can expect plenty more soul-oozing DAW-created grooves from the artist who is quickly becoming renowned for painting with metropolitan strokes and with kaleidoscopically urban colour.

Curfew at the Disco unravels as a mix of euphoria-evoking nu-disco and roots deep techno that allows Bad Wolf to invite you into his imagination where you can explore the intimacy of the house parties which happened while dancefloors and venues gathered dust. The air of hedonist rebellion runs right through Curfew at the Disco, right next to the influence from indie dance and 80s Japanese City pop.

Curfew at the Disco officially released on May 3rd; you can check it out for yourselves via SoundCloud. Connect with Bad Wolf via Instagram.

Open your mind: Min the Universe drops phenomenal ambient EDM remix on ‘Westworld Reanimated’

Min the Universe puts our vivid imagination into a different stratosphere with the bass-pumping Dubstep-infused new track called ‘Westworld Reanimated‘.

This is an exhilarating EDM remake of the wonderful title track from the incredible HBO hit-series Westworld made by the excellent German score composer Ramin Djawadi.

Min the Universe is a globetrotting New York-based guitarist, keyboardist and EDM producer, with an ear for those rare music sounds, that are undeniably electrically-charged to expanded our minds. A huge Westworld fan himself, he has created a masterpiece here that takes you up into the sky and you come back feeling like a different person all together.

The lunar soundscapes are so special and the layers of detail immerses your mind and body to feel something so spectacular, that you will barely believe what you are listening to. Each second is like being in a movie and you find yourself smiling to yourself and remembering how brilliant this series is.

Westworld Reanimated‘ from NYC-based fast-rising EDM producer Min the Universe, is something quite out-of-this world and he treats us to a lesson in appreciation. If you are going to remix a track, you gotta do it with class and try and stamp your own mark on it, to transform the song and make it your own. He has certainly achieved this and with more creations up his sleeve, this is a name to keep a close eye on. If you can keep up with him that is.

Stream this fantastic new single on Spotify and see more on his IG.
