Folarin & Keziah modernise Christian & Gospel in their fusionist soul-stirrer, Everything to Me

Folarin & Keziah

Christian & Gospel duo, Folarin & Keziah shared the love through their single, Everything to Me, which casts aside the traditional aural archetypes to bring in the new school of contemporary gospel. The eclectic fusionist style allows gospel instrumentals to evolve around the shimmering dualistically balanced harmonies. Soul-stirring scarcely scratches the surface of the emotions that flood to the surface while their sonic poetry is in motion.

The soaring electric guitar riff towards the outro of this compassionately enlightening single, which could have come from Prince himself, proves how serious the Nigeria-hailing, Canada-residing duo is when it comes to the modernisation of gospel. Yet even amidst all of the innovation, the original utility of Christian & Gospel resounds.

Everything to Me will officially release on December 30th; check it out via the artist’s official website. Stay tuned for their 2023 full-length LP, which will be followed by a Canadian tour.

DJBrandice is more than ‘Good Enough’ in her latest gospel-inspired RnB single.

Houston TX RnB artist and producer, DJBrandice has released her gospel & hip-hop-infused latest single, Good Enough. Over a simple yet striking melody, the deeply compassionate lyrics smoothly move through notions of self-worth in the context of relationships that plant seeds of doubt.

Even with the heart-wrenching honesty in the lyrics, the nuances of Christian music brings a resolving dynamic to the release that is full of aural salvation for anyone with a confusing sense of self-worth. The instrumentals may be minimal, but with DJBrandice’s unique sonic signature written in the mix and her resoundingly evocative vocals, Good Enough is more than that; it’s exceptional.

Good Enough is now available to stream on Spotify.

They are working hand in hand with the promising artist Tigon on ‘Talk Real‘ and this is apart of a 3 track release ‘This Is My Roar‘ that growls just right to help us heal. This is the conscious Hip Hop that is faith based and made with meaning.

This is about that change that need to make you life better. Life is so stressful and the current work isn’t satisfying, you feel like a zombie. You aren’t the person you used to be when you look in the mirror. This is that real talk and a subject that is often swept under the carpet and forgotten about until the next vacuum of life happens again.

There is a lot of regret and self-reflection here which is so admirable. You are now taking the time to heal up as you have made some mistakes and want to be a better person. ‘Talk Real‘ is a quality release and a real story about what life is life behind the curtains and Tigon performs with passion and love.

Prepare to have your preconceptions about Christian music shattered by up and coming artist Beanie Duhh’s Electronic hit “Open to Christ”.

Open to Christ is just one of the singles which you’ll find on the artist’s mould-breaking 2020 album “A Reflection” which provides 42-minutes of cathartic aural escapism.

Open to Christ has the perfect tone, momentum and vibe to feed you tranquil aural ecstasy. The instrumental mix never needed lyrics to convey the feel-good essence of the soundscape. Beanie Duhh’s intent when he crafted the short and sweet ambient jam is all too apparent in the deftly crafted melodies.

We’ll definitely be putting Beanie Duhh on our radar to see what follows their seminal release.
