Mainline that ‘Summer Feelin’ with the soul singer, Beth Macari’s latest single

With her latest single, Summer Feelin, the up-and-coming pop sensation and soul singer, Beth Macari, proved that generic pop couldn’t be further from her aural gene pool.

The singer-songwriter pulled the top down and navigated her sun-bleached melodies on cruise control to deliver a tropic slice of pop served with an Afrobeat twist to the beats and a little bit of funk fed through the guitar chops that efficaciously carved the ultimate summer pop earworm that you will want to turn back to year after year.

The timelessly infectious hit carries hints of 90s pop energy while embracing the future of the genre with sonic boundary-blurring instrumentals that will take you to transcendent heights when the chorus hits and you’re exposed to the sheer soulful dynamism in Beth Macari’s vocal lines.

Summer Feelin was officially released on July 28th, stream the official music video on YouTube.

On My Mind: Beth Macari sees the spark surge romantically inside her captivating eyes on Feel The Same

After a much-loved performance on Circles, Beth Macari explores the chemistry and takes another bite out of the ice cream with the seductive new single to kiss with, Feel The Same.

Beth Macari is a Newcastle Upon Tyne, England-based indie soul/RnB singer-songwriter who is vocally supreme and sings with that extra enticing edge you can’t teach.

After spending two years on the road with “Loose Women” star Jane McDonald, Beth fronted the house band on Sky One’s celebrity panel show “Bring The Noise”, where she performed alongside Melanie C, Tinie Tempah, Anne Marie and Nicole Scherzinger. A brief stint with the Manchester Camerata orchestra on their “Motown & Northern Soul” tour followed before Beth headed back to her native Newcastle Upon Tyne to focus on her own music.” ~ Beth Macari

Projected with so much genuine accuracy and containing one of the catchiest hooks imaginable, Beth Macari is at her loveable best. In fact, it’s very hard to dislike Beth. She sings with vigour and freedom, while just having honest fun too.

Feel The Same from Newcastle Upon Tyne, England-based indie soul/RnB singer-songwriter Beth Macari is a particularly memorable track which will help many forget the past and move into the moment. The now. That connection. The suspense. The flirting eyes and the extra heartbeat. This is a song to bring the heat back, no matter the temperature outside.

Beth Macari bites Ouroboros’ tail in her Indie RnB single, Circles

To say that Beth Macari’s latest single, Circles is one of the best UK RnB singles from the past few decades doesn’t come close to hyperbole.

“I don’t think you know what it’s like to be a woman” is something that every woman will have felt in her lifetime. That makes it no less profound when Macari uses it to let solidarity spill from her soundscape, which proves that soul and emboldening energy fit hand in glove; when the grasp of the gravitas is so tight.

The jangly indie-pop elements in the emotion-driven single are nothing short of electrifying as they find their charge through creating friction between the sonic past and an empowered future. We honestly couldn’t love her more.

Circles drops on July 1st; check it out on SoundCloud or by heading to Macari’s official website.

Beth Macari’s ‘Gotta Get Back’ to 90’s soul.

Beth Macari

Boom! What goes around, comes around, it seems, and ‘there ain’t nothin’ new under the sun’, and in the case of ‘Gotta Get Back’, that’s a very, very good thing indeed: The spirit of 1990’s soul and R&B artists like Lisa Stansfield, Dina Carroll, or Gabrielle, lives on through Newcastle-based chanteuse Beth Macari’s new single. That’s Newcastle UK, not North-Eastern Wyoming, although you’d never necessarily know that from Macari’s smooth, soulful voice and deliciously well-polished delivery. This is solid gold old-school UK pop-tinged soul/R&B (and if you think that’s hard to say, you should try writing it) that equally sounds beautifully up-to-date, immediate, and fresh. It’s got that Ian Devaney/Andy Morris/Nigel Lowis/CJ Mackintosh production feel courtesy of long-term collaborator ‘Phil The Beat’, opening with smoky vocals and stabbed electro-piano before those retro Linn/TR-808 beats kick in, chokky little funk guitar chords and deep, deep bass carrying the melody behind Macari’s stunning vocal delivery and multi-layered chorus earworm hook. It’s catchy, bouncy, upbeat, hopeful, and danceable all at once.

Macari is already lined up to support Alexandra Burke and Will Young later this year; on the basis of ‘Gotta Get Back’, those won’t be the only high-profile artists coming calling for her services in the near future.

‘Gotta Get Back’ is released on April 13th through all major streaming services; in the meantime, you can check out Beth Macari here or on Facebook.
