Up and coming R&B Soul artist Ze-LuJ’s recently released single “West to Me” is the synthy evolution that the genre has been waiting for.
All too often contemporary artists strive to assimilate the soundscapes which we’ve carried in our hearts for decades. But with “West to Me”, Ze-LuJ has ensured there’s plenty of captivating distinction in their sound which wraps around the nostalgic elements of R&B and Soul.
Of all the R&B tracks I’ve checked out this year, it’s safe to say that West to Me will be the most unforgettable. Which also falls down to Ze-LuJ’s unflinchingly smooth vocals.
