We may be in the grips of winter, but warmth can always be found in the jazzy tones of tracks such as up and coming artist YD’s latest single “Make Room”.
With Haven Beats in charge of the production, Make Room was never going to fall flat. There’s a discernible comfort to the single which isn’t often heard in Hip Hop. But it’s always a pleasure to be served with some nostalgic Soul from the first time of hitting play on a track. And YD brought a sure enough serving through their soft yet perfectly metered Rap verses which brought dynamic energy to the mix without dampening the smooth vibe of the immersive single.
