Songwriter and producer Wyte T Breezy released her latest Alt-Rock single “Women Who Rock (Theme Tune)” on March 26th. All things considered, it’s the ultimate feminist anthem.
There’s no greater symbol of female unity than a collective of women celebrating Rock, Hip Hop, Disco, RnB and Pop culture coming together to create an infectiously high-vibe single.
The progressive aural medley may evolve with every progression, but each evolution is as fierce and convictive as the last. Hearing the snarling raucous guitar licks next to sticky-sweet synth lines and magnetic Rap verses was an experience I will never forget.
With chill-inducingly empowering imagery in the official music video and promises that the fight for female equality will continue, for the first time today, I feel a little bit proud of being a woman.
