WD-HAN have dropped their latest filthily rhythmic Alt Rock earworm “Shiver”

Shiver is the latest single to be released by one of the hottest new Alt Indie artists we’ve amiably ambled across in 2020. WD-HAN’s accessible approach to Blues Rock puts a new contemporary spin on psychedelically entrancing virtuosic licks. There’s hope for radio yet.

The grinding riffs are filthy enough to appease fans of the Cramps while the infectious melodies give Shiver a massive commercial sound which you’d claw your way to the front of a field to witness up close. The instrumental experimentalism in Shiver is one thing, the lyrics which really hit home in our absurd alienated times are quite another.

Sadly, the Coronavirus has put a spanner in the works for WD-HAN’s live performances. But the good news is that they’ll still be releasing a song each month for the rest of 2020. Get them on your radar and get your fill.

You can check out Shiver which was released on March 27th for yourselves by heading over to SoundCloud now.

I am enjoying Amelia Vandergast’s reviews immensely. She digs deep into the vernacular of today’s music scene without compromising literary virtuosity. Very impressive and a joy to read.
