I’ve listened to some aggressive Hip Hop in my time, yet none of Wavvy Paris predecessors or contemporaries have had quite the same effect as I was treated to when I checked out the Rap artist’s single Running Man.
Whilst it isn’t rare for Rap artists to verse about street life, crime and adultery, but there’s something just a little bit daunting about an artist lyrically warning you that you’ll get robbed of your shoes and your sheets. Unless Wavvy Paris has one hell of a stage persona his single Running Man is one hell of a confessional tape, I hope he can outrun the police. Thankfully, the beat is a little less criminal. The doom-impounding visceral beat Is enough to make you share in the gritty sentiment behind the track. With a unique mix of EDM and Trap, the mix progresses under perfect production Wavvy Paris proves that he’s a force to be reckoned with.
