Nike iD is the latest drop of hard hitting Hip Hop from TyTyIsSwavey; an artist who proves that what he lacks in notoriety he more than makes up for in his attitude driven approach to versing.
The up and coming artist teamed up with producer Lj to create an almost melodic Trap beat which sets the perfect platform for TyTyIsSwavey to lay down his relentless bars which flow with so much rhythm each verse hits you as a brand-new wave of authoritative aggression. Ultimately, it’s the perfect track to vibe-out to, yet what I would love to hear from the artist in the future is a little more expression from the lyricism, he clearly has no trouble when it comes to commanding meter and rhyme, yet, it was easy to feel that the lyricism in Nike iD was lacking in personal emotion and feeling. Having said that, it’s clear that TyTyIsSwavey has his own prodigal style when it comes to composing contemporary Hip Hop, and I have no doubt that we’ll be hearing a lot more from him in the future.
