Regardless of the contemporary kick behind Twisted Virus’s latest single PREE ME there’s an authenticity behind the Hip Hop beats which is becoming increasingly hard to find. Excessive reverb may be the vocal trend in 2018, but Twisted Virus had little use with his organically blessed talent when it comes to versing. Beat-wise, there’s an R&B infusion between the Rap bars which adds an instantly accessible vibe to the track, PREE ME is guaranteed to unite old school and new school fans.
The smoothly melodic hit is the first single put out by Twisted Virus in the last few years, it’s clear that in the time he’s taken away from the studio he’s found his own authoritatively fresh sound, I can’t wait to hear him run with it in his future production with his naturally charismatic and playful approach to sound.
