Indie Pop debuts don’t come much more exciting than Tropico Don’s which came in the form of the meltingly melodious single “Orion’s Belt” which was released on November 17th. Atmospherically warm Shoegaze Indie guitars carve out the perfect introduction for Tropico Don’s smooth and naturally alluring vocals which poignantly verse the lyrics which offer plenty of catharsis of their own.
With plenty of subtle progressions, and not so subtle distinctive aural flair, Orion’s Belt is a track which is all too easy to slip into and enjoy the arrestive qualities. Nothing about the production of Orion’s Belt gives any indication that Tropico Don is fresh from her inception. We’re already stoked to see what follows.
