Whilst you’d struggle to find any act which is instantly comparable to the Resonant Complex their sound is instantly accessible for any self respecting Alt Rock fan. The warmth which exudes from their latest single FairPlay will hit you with the same burning veracity of bands such as Incubus, SoundGarden and Pearl Jam. Yet the vocalist’s authentically unique vocal style allows the Resonant Complex to stand in a completely different league of their own, there’s strength behind the vocals, yet there’s a slight Pop Punk twist which makes the lyrics that little bit more resonant. There’s a potent energy behind the instrumentals which glide with concordance through the progressive notes of the anthemic single. After you’ve listened to the track unfold it becomes easy to see how they got their name.
