Whilst many may try their hands at the genre, creating a stunningly textured Industrial EDM mix takes a fair amount of aural command. Which is exactly what emerging artist THE NIGHT proved they had in their possession with their debut EP release.
“Alienation” is just one of the seamless, pitch-perfect singles on the 4-track release which will take you right back to the roots of the genre, yet the single will still resonate as more than just an assimilation of already so commonly regurgitated sound. What so many artists EDM artists fail to do is weave some ingenuity into the lyrics, and it’s safe to say THE NITE isn’t lacking in the ability to pen pensively salacious lyrics.
