The New Travelers – Nothing’s Wrong: The Pensive Vibes of Jangle Pop

As Alt Indie Rock bands go, The New Travelers stick well within the confines of the genre. Their contemporary vibes contain all you’d expect to hear from a collective of the alternative persuasion, including Jangle Pop inspired guitar riffs that weave throughout the multi-level synth effects and a succinctly sweet, almost Folkish vocal style. What really sold The New Travelers for me was the beautiful almost fractured vocal style that perfectly exuded the pensive vibes from the lyrics of their new track Nothing’s Wrong. If you could imagine a happy Joy Division, you’d come close to imagining the iridescently blinding Indie Anthem which is also reminiscent of bands such as Peace, Jaws and Mumford and Sons.  If I don’t hear The New Travelers sound on Radio 2 this year, I’ll get increasingly convinced that the music industry is screwed.

If you’re looking for an Alt Indie hit with plenty of guitar-driven riffs to stick your teeth into you can check out The New Travelers track Nothing’s Wrong on SoundCloud now.
