The title to the track of the Black Planes latest single may be Stone in Love, but God damn it, after listening to it, I’m in love.
Finding a Psychedelic Rock band that put out the same decadently reverberant fuzzy bliss as contained in their latest single would be like finding a needle in a haystack. So many Psychedellic artists are trying to create something conceptual out of revival by sticking to the fundamentals. Yet, the Black Planes have gone in a completely different direction and incorporated some sublimely filthy synth that even purists wouldn’t even be able to deny adds something to the soundscape.
From Stone in Love you can expect a weaving of trippy ambient chaos around the grinding riffs of the guitar which lead the way through the prodigal new track from their latest album ‘This is the Black Planes’.
